    You have to make posts in order to read PMs?
    I'll assume you mean clicks. I get email notifications of PMs, which include the message body and a link to the PM in the email. Wall posts I get an email telling me I have a wall post and just giving me a link to my wall.

    Fact: it takes three posts to read a PM from the main menu which may contain the same content as a wall post that only takes one click from the portal / index :)
