What is the Hunting Event Tournament?
During sign-up festival week, normally during the weekend there is a 3-day period (sometimes is 4) where Guild Members can do competitions. This is broken down to 3 Hunting Events: Guild Competition, Individual Competition, and Fishing Competition. Guild and Individual Competitions are Time-Attack based, where Fishing is mostly Luck based when you fish.

General Rules for Time Attack Competitions:
-You must be in a Guild and is signed up for the Festival (Rank 1 or higher)
-Rarity restrictions on quests
-No Item Quest except for Bins/Bullets for Individual Comps
-No Item Quest for 4-Man Guild Comps
-Preselected Armor and skills (unless you add some gems in your weapon)
-Cuffs and Caravan Skills are automatically turned off
-*NEW* SR Bonus Skills are automatically turned off
*Note: To post these 2 quests, select 「韋駄天杯復習クエスト」 from the quest giver.






Fishing Comps: There will be a list of 3 fishes during this period. If you fish these, their size will be recorded and their Rank will be recorded. Like Individual Comps, Rewards will be awarded to the top 300 Sizes for each fish.


Ranking Board: It takes some hours to update the ranking list. So check back to it from time to time. You can check this with the lady between the Festival Booth and the HRP board/Armory Northern Entrance.

Why do this? Any benefits?
-If your Guild places top 10, 5000 入魂 for next week will be awarded to your Guild Total and a 50000 入魂 bonus will be awarded to your Team Total. .
-If your Guild places top 11-30, 2000 入魂 for next week will be awarded to your Guild Total and a 20000 入魂 bonus will be awarded to your Team Total.
*Note: That is a total of 50000x10 + 20000x20 = 900000 入魂 that will be awarded as Bonus between both teams depending on this Hunting Competiton, which can turn the tide!
-If your Guild places top 31-100, 1000 入魂 for next week will be awarded to your guild total.
-By placing top 100, your Guild and your Team will receive that bonus at the end of the point giving week.

-For Individual and Fishing comps, you will receive Event Codes from My Page for being in the Top 300 for each weapon.
You will receive Artisan Tickets (weapons/cuffs/furnitures) and a Half Ticket (for Items or 20 Gou tix or 50 HC tix)

Flaws/Complaints about fairness throughout the competition?
-Allowing SR moves (needing HR 500+ as well), SR moves tend to be better than normal moves, but not always
-Allowing HC Weapons (needing to farm lots, depending on competition Rarity restrictions), HC weapons are often overpowered compared to normal weapons on the same rarity level
-SR 999 Critical bonus was a great disadvantage for many, but I think that is now fixed

What is Meran?
The black version of the Original Azul Armor...(like the Harvest is another alternative). It has great skills on both Blade and Gunner sets.

Why make a guide?
It is a pain in the butt to farm for this armor, so not much people get it. Hence, a guide is needed especially for those lost in translation people out there. I made a guide like this before like 3 years or so ago, before the Mezeporta was even revamped and back in the Dondruma days~ ^^

How to farm for Meran?
First of all, you need to be HR 51+, otherwise you can't obtain the Meran materials. After any quest clear (subs included) or failure, there is a chance that a black cat will show up in your My Garden who asks you to retrieve something random that he lost in the Mezeporta Square. When you talk to him, he tells you hints where he last lost his item. You can then find the missing item in the square once given the command to pick up something to do so. Return the item to the cat and it will tell whether it is the lost item or not. If not, you will need to grab another lost item. You keep doing this until you get the correct lost item and see the rewards screen. You would want to look for the yellow ? Item, 「誰かの王冠」, Someone's Lost Crown.

NOTE: You will not receive a crown 100% at a time... (more like about 75% per rewards screen)

These are the required Lost Crowns you would need to upgrade per armor piece:
To MAX Base - 96 Crowns
To MAX F from MAX Base - 93 Crowns
To MAX FY from MAX F - 28 Crowns (Cephy Memo「フェルミメモ」 and Gou Abio Scale「獣竜種の鱗」 are needed)
To MAX HC from MAX FY - 28 Crowns (HR 500: LR SR Item - 秘伝の証【序】x27, HR SR Item - 秘伝の証【破】x18, Tekisei SR Item - 秘伝の証【急】x18, HC Ticket Exchangeable Item - 秘伝の導きx3)

Total needed to fully MAX - 245 Crowns

How to make this easier?
-Farm a Gook Charm! As of F3, you will only be able to gather the requested item that the cat lost so you would not do additional trips. Guide for the Charm is here: http://forums.minega...the-gook-guide/
-To make the cat appear faster...well, you can do suicide runs by posting the Dodobrango Exercise, Pick Gunner, then bomb yourself for insta quest fail. Otherwise, just keep doing quick quests and checking the garden after a while.
-Memorize/Know the key words the cat hints you! This is the main purpose of this guide - to tell you where the lost items is nearby.

No special conditions! All you need to do is register for the game. I tested this for some inactive accounts and it stated that there is FREE HLC/EX until 1/25, 11 JST!!!

If you are currently subbed: hopefully you will receive coupons sometimes next month to compensate your paid subbed days like they did last time.
