    Well, it's just a bunch of wallpapers being packed down into one for Aero wallpaper (and most of 'em aren't HD res). I was expecting more like custom icons and stuff. :\

    Should be useful for some lazy people though.

    By Kana he means start at Hiragana. then you can move on Katakana (some letters are similar to hiragana) the fastest method to memorize is to keep writing it.
    if you want to start getting your hands on Kanji, just memorize some important ones like what have been said above. but make sure you mastered reading Kana first.

    Vocabulary is easy to pick up if you like watching subbed anime/J-drama frequently.

    If you want to learn in sake of helping you playing japanese games, just learn to read Katakana (and Hiragana as well). as once you mastered reading them, you'll at least know how to navigate in menus and few stuff (since most japanese games still use english written in Katakana)

    if you're serious about learning, better get a full course.
