Well extra-dimensionality is still being discussed it is not yet mainstream in thought though you do hear a lot of fun stuff if you ever take a string theory class. Me personally my brain is fried just trying to ponder between the sun the earth....let alone intergalactic distances and inter-structure distances in space....that is just asking for a migraine.

In short....yeah....try to be happy, cause in the end it is all a blip no one but you and those in your inner circle of friends/family will ever see.

Yeah Hguols, Jask is right. I HATED PvP for a good 5 months (and pretty much the game itself) when I first started Demon's Souls. I didn't get the hang of Man Form and Soul Form, so when I was invaded in 3-1, I had no idea what was going on. As such, being killed by an unknown red enemy really pissed me off. But, then I looked into it, and figured everything out. I gave the PvP a chance, and now that's all I play Demon's/Dark Souls for.

You must understand that the phantom invaders have one thing and one thing only as their objective; killing you. So, what you can do is *only be ALIVE if you are looking for a Phantom Friend*. I NEVER reverse Hollow unless I am actively looking for a partner. Having this friendly player makes the game soooo much more fun. And it makes invasions a whole lot easier.

Secondly, if you want to prove to yourself that you like or dislike PvP, next time you go Hollow, place down a White (or Sunbro Gold) sign. Once you're summoned, you can get the full PvP experience (I can almost guarantee that your host will be invaded several times) without ANY risk at all. If you don't have fun helping someone or fighting their invaders, by all means remain offline or in Hollow. But don't knock it til you try it, cuz I did and now I realize I wasted months of this game.

Well, both have their ups and downs. I hate invasions though, because like the term implies they are coming into your game uninvited and unwanted. You can call it what you will but that is what it is at the end of the day for a lot of people. Many like it but just as many do not and to be simultaneously robbed of Co-op play because of it is not a good game mechanic at all. I too would call that broken. The whole concept of honorable fight from an invader is ridiculous to me in the first place. In history I don't recall much honor from invaders upon the people they had invaded and the same holds true in this game. It is invasive like an anal check up.

Again if you are into it that is cool, but there are some people (myself included) who can't get into it and I have tried it many times. The invader warning just makes me cringe. I hope the next souls game, if there is one, changes this mechanic to an Arena like place where people who desire PVP can go and beat each other senseless and maybe even get trophies for it or something to make it worthwhile for them. As it is in the current mode, it feels and smells broken to me to have to force PVP on the Co-op community as well.

I notice that whenever I purchase a PSP game on my PS3, it shows up in the list for all of the Users. Could I not just buy Unite on a User assigned to a US PSN, and then switch to the user with the HK PSN to transfer to Vita?

Switching users when installing will invalidate the purchase of the digital content and make it non-playable in the other user's rig. I had tried it many times when wanting to give my wife access to games I had purchased on my account. Bottom line, the account you buy your PSN on locks them to that region and user/hardware, any attempt to move them to an account not the original buyer's will result in the game becoming non-playable and your purchase becoming invalidated from what I understand.

*edit yes the PSV was doomed from the start, sad to see all the negative speculation come true, but in a sense Sony deserves it because only a fool does the same strategy 3 times in row and hopes it will work the 3rd time....*

IGN is lazy, they glitz their articles now like the rest of mass media these days to get clicks. It is all so ridiculous. Also they are never going to do double work unless the title is AAA or better. You can easily tell whose butt they are kissing most days or which franchises they prefer. I tend to rent games or try the demos and rate them myself. I don't need professional couch-potetoes to tell me squat about games ;-)

Their biggest flaw though is systematizing something that is inherently subjective. Some of their swill is objectively written(though I use the term objective loosely since most of their articles always compare between games, because they fall into a genre), but in the end it is still just one writer's opinion. I say if the game is doing it for you, it is a good game.

    Correct.

After searching around some more I found that a lot of people who had experienced this problem couldn't get it fixed without sending it to Sony so I just went out a purchased a new 160GB Slim console with Battlefield 3 included. If you simply connect the two PS3's together you can easily copy all of your stuff to the new PS3 (saves included). My Dark Souls save is perfectly fine as well, so the process went well.

For future reference, if anybody has the same problem as I did and want to move all their stuff to the new PS3, refer to this guide.

That is quite handy. If everything else but the reader is still in working condition in you told PS3 I would also deauthenticate it from the PSN so that you can get one piece of hardware back to tie to the PSN if you need to.

I know, my screen resolution is 1600x900, and I don't particularly want to squish or squeeze it, so I wondered if you'd uploaded a smaller version :)
