  1. The Three Great Blades

    This is sorta a silly topic, but I did not see this anywhere on the boards. In the description for the Barbarian Blade path it states that it is one of the "Three Great Blades". No where else is this mentioned in the Monster Hunter Universe (at least not that I have found). Has anyone seen 'official' reference outside of this one weapon description? If not, what do you think the other 2 great blades would be?

    My vote - Demise and Lightening Works.
    Why - mainly because they have 2 slots just like Sharq. But also because they are arguably the best of their element AND, this is the tricky part, you don't really need any other long swords once you have all three. Every monster in the game can be covered by using one of them in that you can always at least match against a secondary elemental weakness.

    Thoughts?
