So after a long Hiatus (lol, Tri) I have finally got back to 2ndG/Unite. And since I last played, I have acquired a PS3 and am keen for some Ad Hoc action. Now my question...

Do any of you guys still play Ad Hoc? Or are all the cool kids rocking the Kai these days?

I use Kai, and it's pretty empty most days. I'd guess if anyone is playing, they're on AHP. I don't know, however, because I don't have it myself. Just lettin' you know Kai is pretty dead...for Unite, anyway. P2G still has quite a few players.

Ad Hoc is almost never empty always people making parties but I only play at nights (MST) so if your a day player I have no idea.

How can I play in Ad Hoc Party? I always was interested on playing in Ad Hoc but I don't know how. How do you guys managed to play in it?

I got Ad hoc working. There is a ok crowd, mainly EU peeps, so it's big at the time they are usually around.

-You need a PS3
-Download AdHoc via Playstation Store (free)
-Add your PSP to your PS3 remote devices
-In MHFU visit online guild hall
-Open AdHoc and hit scan for game.

Everything else is pretty much straight forward, you may need to do some google search though.

If i have an American Account, can i connect to a Japanese Ad Hoc User? Cause one of the main reasons i'm getting a PS3 is for Ad Hoc party. Of Course i will get more games for it, but it was either a PS3 or a Laptop, the laptop could have been used for Xlink Kai. Also I have 2nd G AND Freedon Unite. Can i use both on any Region account?

If the japanese user is on the US Ad Hoc Party, then yes. you can also download the JP Ad Hoc Party off their PSN and use your US account to connect to it. you just cant play cross-region, what i mean by that is that the JP AHP can't connect to the US AHP servers

Hey guys new user here...Do you HAVE to have a PS3 in order to get Global AdHoc? Or is there another way I can play with you guys without a PS3 being hooked up? Also I have a Ps3 and PSN but not with me at the moment and I'm not sure when you guys play and whatnot.

Yes, you need to have the PS3 to use Adhoc Party.
