Hi,

I see on and on discussions on other sites, on the Monster hunter 3 server itself, and even saw them here. These discussions are on the following subject: I sometimes hear from people that they think or know that certain charms are easier to get in certain quests. On example the http://monsterhunter...H3:_Charm_Guide site theres a small list that one / some person(s) has found Attack +7 OO charm in high Rank Kill agna quest.
This is NOT that its mined there, but that you got a timeworn as reward and it transformed into Attack +7 OO.

I hope to get more info of people who can tell me where they got what charm and whether they mined it or gotten it as reward. I also hope to get more info on this subject: is it built in game that certain quests give certain charms or not?
I personally think its bullshit, but thats an opinion.

I got my 3 slot charm in a lagiacrus advanced high rank quest.
Gathering +7 OO in Roll the Uroktor (mined) EDIT: thanks Ce Nedra for reminding me.

We weren't doing Agna iirc. You got that 2 days ago when we played with Pieter. It was either Roll the Uroktor or Hunt Rathalos in Volcano.

I've only ever gotten 3 +7 OO charms and two (swimming and speed sharpening) came from mining in Roll the Uroktor and one (hunger) from mining during the kill agna quest. I also got a OOO charm from mining in an agna kill quest.

The only other charms that stand out in my memory are a +10 OO precision charm from the cap a gigi 5* and a +3 O fastcharge which came from Roll the Uroktor. I don't recall anything fantastic that wasn't from volcano mining.

My hunch is that most of the good charms will come from mining as that's where most go to get a more realiable source of timeworns although capping high level monsters can yield some along with quest rewards on occasion but it seems to be very touch and go in my expierence. I know the other day I got a timeworn as a bonus kill reward along with my other jho parts when we killed Jho for a random in the 4* ian kill quest.

The developers went to the extent of making each individual mining rock different in the volcano, for instance the rock just after the old man tends to give more timeworn, lazurite jewels and rare stuff and the rock nearer to area 10 gives whetstones and iron ore mainly. So what if there was a certain quest that gave a higher percentage of evasion +7 OO charms etc.

I think that's what gouki is trying to speculate on.

I've got two +7 pellet+ OO from mining in roll the uroktor.

Well just to add on to this...

I received a +10 one slot speedsetup charm and a +10 one slot current resistance charm from doing the capture rathalos quest in 4* online (the highest possible star quests where you fight los by itself). They came about 3-4 quests apart.

Maybe theres not all things clear on this thread...
Let me explain short again:

there are rumours certain quests give certain rewards charm.
As I think personally its bullshit, im still want to investigate. Maybe Im wrong on this.
Please post as many Dragon Talismans/charms as you got from Rewards of high rank quests. They may also be from Mining, but you need to be sure where you got it!
I wanna create a list then let people try to do certain quests a lot and see if they can get the certain charm, people before him got easy.

No idea if it's worth mentioning but i just got a Dragon Talisman with Handicraft+2 and Elemental +2, mined in Roll the Uroktor.

Seems rather ok to me, 2 skills with + on a Dragon Talisman

And last night during Ala (non event) either Progg, Alex or Kira got a +7 OO charm but i forgot which skill kinda.
