Chapter 10, finally out.

Absolutely no excuse for this, I am so terribly sorry. I've had a massive case of writer's block, and it shows in the chapter's length. I can't promise it won't happen again, but...I'll try my damnedest.

Word count comes close to 25,000 (the tool I'm using says 24,901).

Knowing the ending probably had a negative effect on my reading experience. Though, I thought it was supposed to end with a mercy kill.

I noticed the Kino cameo. Also, Tobias (though the connection seems minimal). Not sure if there's any others.

Roy seems to pass out A LOT.

This just might not be your style, or my opinion, and I might just be wrong, so take this with a grain of salt, but I think more character development and interaction would be nice. This includes character flaws/weaknesses, and characters other than Roy and Rei.
I remember some cases I particularly enjoyed, and it may have just been because there were other characters:
The brief moment with the card game with the other hunters.
The white knight guy (starts with and S, the main one) fighting the great sword guy (I think Jason). I really would have rather seen Jason win that fight rather than Roy later. That might just be rooting for the underdog.
The seemingly pompous Uragaan guy showing some mercy and intelligence when he figured out the other white knights had no combat experience.

I guess you could say I thought Roy was a glory hog.


Anyway, that's just me being critical. Just my opinion and I might be wrong.
Overall I thought it was good. Glad I read it.
