Back up your save file a reminder

Topic Title says all. This is, I should note, a "necro" from the old forum.

I just did it a minute ago.

Please give this thread periodic bumps so that people will remember to back up their save files.

I often back up my saved data. Luckily, my MHFU save has never been corrupted.

wait wait question question...I wanna copy my mhfu file to another mem stick. is it possible?

all right so im assuming that i connect the psp with my file to the comp copy the mh file and then take the copied file out and then put the copied file into the new mem stick. correct?

copy the save data file thats on the mem stick onto ur comp. then place it in the correct place on the new mem stick

its really not that hard xD
plug ur psp on the comp. open the psp folder. copy the save data folder onto ur comp

well yeah but its a brand new mem stick that im trying to transfer to i already tried what u said but i cant find a file in the saved data. there's nothing in the mem stick no files at all

ok fine drag and drop EVERYTHNG on the old mem stick into a new folder that u make on ur desktop. then drop everything thats in the folder(not the folder itself) into the new mem stick

all right so i just copied the savefile folder and im creating a copy which ill transfer to the new mem stick correct?

its a new mem stick so its clean completly. take everything that was in ur old psp and copy it to ur comp. bassically plug the psp into the comp. then take everything on it and put it on the comp. (drag and drop it to the desktop) then drag and drop all that into the new mem stick

no no i wanna keep my files but i want my friend to have his so i copy everything instead

Lol@ashqul+silenced! I can smell irritation in some of those posts. XD

I always have an extra 16gig stick, I just load my mem, switch out the cards then save.

Then I usually put it somewhere safe. Like in my bra. XP

ohh i wonder what happens to it when u score.....but well anywho couldnt find out if it was successful or not.....charge ran out so i couldnt see if it worked or not

Ah.... I remembered.

I think I'll keep a backup to my external drive as well.
I'd hate to lose hundreds of hours of "work" on a fluke.
