I've been using this name here and there since I decided the old ones I was using seemed a little too outdated and cliché--Dragonslayer (at least a movie was named this!), Mitorusaru (Another Japanese-sounding name, yawn). Arandur is supposedly Elvish for "Protector", and the name I used as a Paladin/Cleric/Healer when I used to be into MMORPGs. I just liked the ring it had to it and stuck with it. Most people seem to just call me Aran, but that suits me fine.

I've been using this for around 7 or 8 years already...
It just popped out of my brain when me and my group of friends were playing Battlefield 1942 via LAN.
I didn't have a ready codename back then, and it just popped out... it was Major Ramida back then, but it is not appropriate outside of the Battlefield.
