This is a topic for people who just want to be able to ask any questions they want, without any restrictions. I know there's probably one out there, but hey lets have one on the front page of RM for a bit, and get one of my topics popular for once.

eg. What is your favourite car, why?
Which country would you most like to live in, why? etc.etc.

Anyway, one of the things I wanted to know is if any of you giys approve of pirated music. Is it a stand against prices you think are too high, or can't you stand people who you think are stealing other peoples hard work.

Also, if you're looking at this thread, remember to post

BTW, this is supposed to be a sensible thread...Usulpoo

10 effing view!!! Come on guys there should be 10 helpful replies!!!!

Well I like music about pirates. :3

On the serious side, I don't really mind, but that's probably because I'm on the receiving end of pirated stuff.

There's pirated version of everything. for music I do admit that most of my collections are from pirating (I don't use iTunes) but I bought CDs of singer/bands that I really liked.
hey, at least I'm willing to hear the songs.

Question: Which one is real and existed before our times, dinosaurs or pokemons? :(

According to Darwin's theory of evolution, Pokemon came first. They then evolved into Dinosaurs. Of course there's a lot of conflict with this seeing that there are no pokemon fossil records, though I say that's quite understandable since it doesn't really take much for pokemon to evolve.

Question: What do you guys want to be when you grow up?

Actually, I hear they've recently found fossils of a huge isopod; they decided to call it a Kabu - something or whatevermajig.

I'd like to become a fine artist in my future :) But a designer working for a game developing company wouldn't be bad.

Question: What are you most afraid of?

Spread poison around your apartment. Don't forget to laugh maniacally while you're at it.

Question: What do you get when you fall in love?~

Depends how high you are falling from, but maybe a scraped knee or two.

What is the air-speed velocity of an unladen swallow?

Oh my, you've been in the Gay Marriage thread too long.

As a signed musician myself, I don't have a BIG problem with pirated music, even stumbling upon my own being pirated.

Piracy doesn't hurt bands, it hurts the labels. They're the ones getting rich off of artists. I'd imagine it's a little bit different being on an awesome underground label than a major one, but in reality, they make more off me than I make off me.

...which is fine. There's more to music than making money, and since piracy is publicity.... I wouldn't say it's all that bad.

Honestly though, if I stumble across a torrent or rapidshare/megaupload/mediafire/etc "post", I just nicely ask them to remove it.
Nothing personal.

As long as people don't discuss methods of pirating music it should be alright, it's just a discussion of morals and opinions. Minegarde does not condone piracy of any sort.

Many of the Pokemon are inspired by things from the past, present, and mythology. The fossil Pokemon are obviously inspired by the past, so it's no surprise that they may resemble actual fossils found. Also, their names are often references or wordplay. "Kabuto" means helmet or headpiece, which makes a it of sense when looking at the Pokemon, no? "Kabu also has several meanings, and can be part of many more words.

Remember, you don't have to post a question, you can just post a response to a previous question.

I will ask a question though, why is it so important that a thread you made be popular?

I....well, I'm not sure, my guess is people want attention because they didn't get enough when they were young... or they're just really self centered.

How good do you think your english is?

@turtle, I think my written English is pretty good. I stumble every once in a while with my spoken English, but I can converse just fine with it.

Are you referring to an African swallow or a European swallow?

I guess I want it to be popular because all my other ones have failed miserably. I also want to kn ow what makes a thread popular. Whether it is having well known members of the community posting, is it that it has to to have the hot topic sign, does it need to be created by a popular person or is it just an interesting name.

also I'd just like to mention that there are no pokemon fossils, because as we all know pokemon came from the moon ( I think it's mentioned in red) to see what humans were like, when they eventually realised they were just being put in little cages and made to fight the whole time only to be stolen, they got pissed and flew back to the moon. This is the only piece of evidence I've ever been able to come up with for why the lunar landing never happened. Surely Houston would have wanted Armstrong to catch them all. (sorry I do realise this isn't very funny, but I thought I'd leave it in for shits and giggles)

Also I'm pretty sure he's on about the African Swallow

Also I think my spoken English is probably the best it will ever be, but my grammar isn't too great. To be honest, I think I could easily get my written german up to the same level if i had german lessons non stop for a couple of weeks or so, my spoken german still quite a way off though.

What do you guys think will make a popular topic?
