Simply saying discuss at the start of the thread doesn't lead to any real conversations.
There's also the fact that that most responses have been once sentence,
but then again I guess this has done well for being in RM.
Good for you people.
My thoughts are its typical American redneck crap that's been given too much attention.
He's like Freddy Kruger people, if you don't think about him he looses his power!

It's sad that they portray Muslims as terrorists. We're like a big family, and in a family there is a black sheep.

As for my own personal opinion regarding this topic, I just can't believe the guy is so ignorant and stupid enough not to think this through. He's either being overly idealistic, or is just plain stupid. His decision to burn the Koran books is far from being rational, let alone logical (but it may be reasonable...to some extent).
Burning the Koran isn't going to solve anything, as such is the use of violence. It'll just make things worse. By burning the Koran, the guy is provoking Muslim terrorist groups for another attack.
Not to mention that the guy's responses to his interview were.......stupid.

The sudden push of this "burning Quran" event and doing it such as on purpose and it seems there is something more. I don't know what it is, but I hope is nothing or not something that is gonna screw this world.

I was being sarcastic. Basically, it's a case of "If I do it to you I'm a good guy, but if you do it to me you're a bad guy." And I absolutely hate that kind of blind stupidity.

Regardless, both idea are worthless. This isn't even considered a divisive issue, rather it's the attention they are given that brings the nuts to the front lines.
