Lagia *can* fire thunderballs on land, but it appears to take significantly more effort than in water. They also appear to arc on land, so it seems gravity affects them far more heavily than Los' fireballs. In Lagia's favor though, the thunderballs appear to travel along the ground for a short distance after impact, could potentially catch a grounded Los unaware.

Agreed though, I give the fight to Los. Most of Lagia's ground arsenal can't touch Los in the air, and Los is a far more adept fighter in close quarters anyway. Granted, Los might take a bit of a beating, but nothing compared to even what another Rathalos could do.

As for Los/Ian, I don't see those two realistically fighting for any reason. If for some reason they did, it would be an even match, I think.

I never cared about justice and I don't recall ever calling myself a hero... I have always only fought for the people I believe in. If an enemy appears in front of me, I will destroy it!

Lagiacrus' energy balls can be shot upwards, and Los might think that being in the air = hit by energy ball, so he will stay on the ground more, thus leaving Lagiacrus more opportunities to attack.

Also, Rathalos is weak to thunder.

Lagi is weak to fire, and less maneuverable on land. I haven't fought him in a while, so I couldn't remember if he did thunder balls on land.

Yes Los is weak to thunder, but it's a secondary weakness whereas Fire is Lagia's primary. I'd still give this fight to Los, at least on land. It's up in the air when both are in their respective strong spots. (Water for Lagia, the sky for Los)

I too, would give the fight to Rathalos. He's simply more suited to combat in the land/air.

And let's face it, no one can spam cheap/annoying attack like Rathalos can. Lagiacrus would fall.

Rathian is resistant to poisons (at least somewhat, right?) and Gigginox is weak to fire, and seems physically inferior. I have to give it to Rathian.

Rathian for sure. Gigginox is just too squishy.

Honestly, Rathian could probably crush Gigginox in her jaws.
