The USA - always wanted to live and study here; plus, my best friend now lives here, too.
Alaska - fresh salmon, glaciers, clean and cool icy breezes, and eternal snow & ice.
Switzerland - bread & cheese fondue, mountains & mountain resorts bathed in snow and trees for ski.
Canada - houses one of the world's best & inspiring architecture & applied art; also, maple maple maple.
Finally, in equal priority, England, France, and Italy

South Africa may be my 6th or 7th, the other being Russia.

As you can see a lot of these are 'Arctic' countries, those with winter being a significant season. I have never seen real snow, just so you know.

Hope you'are rich, i live in a mountain resorts.. and ski cost a crap load (if you count rent+hotel(or flat) for a week it can go up to 10'000$ if you go with 2 or 3 people).
Bread fondue is excellent either :P

Is it part of the US? I don't know. They're two really different places though, so I'd like to treat them as two different destinations for this thread's purpose.

As to the problem about funds, since this thread does mention 'if you had the chance', I merely assumed that all funds are covered by a very generous person who's too rich to spend all of his money and gives free vacations to everyone in an attempt to deplete his riches :P ; either that, or we're rich enough to go where we want to and buy or do what we want. Is it that expensive though? I don't know. Yep, I bet bread fondue tastes wonderful.. especially when you're enjoying the pot with some friends in a fireplace-heated mountain cottage while it snows with a light blizzard outside. Mmmh..!

And by the way, I think I'll correct my list. Greece is my new 6th, with Russia being the 5th and South Africa being the 6th. If I do get to go to South Africa though, it would only be to watch the wildlife from a comfortable air-conditioned vehicle, or browse through a resort, as (or so I heard) in the native villages and less-fortunate urban areas AIDS is endemic and security is still an issue. No offense, but that's what I heard. And being exposed to a risk of catching AIDS does scare me.

alaska is part of the states, just like hawaii. for aids in africa, you will have to exchange bodily fluids with an infected person.

Allright, that's fresh. As for AIDS.. indeed, but there's still the security issue lurking around. Unless you get spattered with blood after a fight with an HIV carrier, chances are slim. However, I'm quite paranoid when it gets to diseases. Especially such diseases that spell certain doom. Yes, I'm quite the health worrier.

I don't understand what Resident Evil 5 has to do with being cautious of AIDS.

Well, considering that its not passed on in the same manner as AIDS, and also not real, I find it hard to compare.

Ugh.

I'm not saying he's scared of Resident Evil 5 happening in Africa exactly how it happens in the game. I'm saying its similar when you break it down.

He's afraid of security and a virus, those are the core issues.

Those issues come up in RE5 for the entire game. You are constantly dealing with violent "people" who are infected with a virus.

I really don't know if you're just
  • Unimaginative
  • A Troll
  • Stupid

I never said that he was scared of it happening.

Violent "people" eh. Are Africans that low to you to be quoted as such. As some sort of pseudo-person?

It was a parasite in Resident Evil 5, not a virus.

I said "people" because they're high functioning zombies.
It had nothing to do with race.
