What's the best hammer to use for Uragaan offline? I can't get online so only have offline stuff available to me.

I would say paralykeet because it has paralysis on it so you can get in those extra hits if you can get it off. I'm no hammer expert though. It'll be useful to have focus and tremor resistance if you can get those skills.

Tried Paralykeet and he didn't get paralysed once...

Go for the water element hammer. I believe the final form you can get offline is called the Vodyanoy hammer or something like that. It gets a decent amount of green sharpness before needing online-only parts, and Uragaan is just ridiculously weak to water.

Ok just checked it up, if you can get the rusted hammer and upgrade it to breath core hammer with dragon element, it'll be the best hammer for you in offline play. If not, then the paralykeet is the next best weapon since it has higher raw than the water hammers you can get or you could try the barroth carapace+ and use an armour set with at least critical eye +1.

I'll try the water hammer (already have it). And well, haven't had a single one of the new ruststones (now called rustshards I think) and have been trying to farm them a fair bit.

Damn you. After massacring like 30 combined Great Jaggi+Baggi (breaking the head on each) I have yet to see even one stupid Bird Wyvern Gem T_T. Haven't tried capturing, though. Should help.

Another question, I've seen the wikia page that has carve and break rewards. It also has regular quest rewards (is this not quest dependent?). However, it is noticeably lacking in capture rewards. Is there a resource somewhere that has those?

Tranquilizer and Good Luck skills wont help.

Well I beat The Chin and then went and killed Mr Beard.

Water Hammer on Chin dude was pretty easy, didn't die, broke his chin and captured him in without a problem.

I know good luck doesn't help but it says in the game that tranquiliser +10 aka capture expert gives you 100% chance of an extra capture reward when you capture a monster. According to your link there a 4% chance of you getting a gem. If you have 100% of getting another capture reward, there's another 4% chance of you getting a gem. How does that not help...

Dung bomb = Dung + Bomb sac

Where do I get Bomb sac again??
Its prolly offline item or so, but I forgot, thanks would be appreciated.

(BTW I checked the wikia ofcourse, but nothing...)

Look here

If you want chance to get the most of them at once do Lick a Lagi or Rotten Fish. they can both give you 4 at a time. or do The Princess PRide or Burnt Offering for a higher chance of getting 2.
