Add Yama for HBG, and put Kirin on the SnS list.

GS: Rajang? honestly I thought GS againts Rajang is not a big deal, but it's NOT easy for most player. Rajang is completely vulnerable to gunners.
If it's your own idea, than mine is GS: Ukanlos, Akantor.

I found it's harder to hammer bloses but it could be just me.

and gunning los/ian is pretty easy for me..unless if you can't somewhat measure Rathian fireballs range or can't keep a distance with los.

Since you mostly gun monsters, it's no wonder you find them easy.

Need suggestion from you guys on how this list should actually be. Most of us here obviously are good with certain weapons compared to others, so there will be some conflict about what should ACTUALLY be on the list.

So in an effort to learn how to use SnS, Lance, HH i've been trying to practice against monsters that are easy to kill with said weapons.

So i've tried to come up with a list of what monsters would get killed pretty easy with a specific weapon. List is incomplete obviously so help me fill in the blanks

SnS-Nargacuga, Kirin, Rajang
DS- Chameleos, Gravios
LS- Rathian, Tigrex, All Pelagus, Plesioth, Bird Wyverns Crabs, Elder dragons
GS- Tigrex, Rathalos, Diablos, Bird wyverns, Plesioth
Hammer- Everything
HH- Crabs
Lance-Nargauga, Crabs, Piscines, Gravios
GL- White Fatalis, Crimson Fatalis
Bow- Rajang, Diablos
LBG- Most monsters except Tigrex, Lunastra, Teostra, Rathalos, Rathian
HBG- Most monsters except Tigrex, Lunastra, Teostra, Rathalos, Rathian

Obviously there are some things that are wrong and more monsters that are not on the list. So if you have anything to add say so.

EDIT: Should there be differences between LBG and HBG due to rapid fire and mobility?

I have killed Teostra and Lunastra with HBG, just have a shield and they are easy! Rathalos and Rathian too, HGE will keep you safe from roars to avoid instant charges (it OHKO me always when they are in rage). The hardest monster to gun is Tigrex, timing is everything.

Evade Distance Up is everything you need in gunning fast creatures.

Lance:
- Akantor and Ukanlos. Stab,stab,stab->trip->stab,stab,stab. Roar->block->stab,stab,stab->trip->etc.
- Chameleos. Lance-charge fun run ftw. Almost no thinking required (you do have to aim your charge :P)
- Tigrex. Play is almost like using LS, only you have the safety net of a shield if ever you should fail a hop through the roar.

On a similar note, imo the training school percentage modifiers are pretty good indicators of what's easy/difficult to use on the monster specified.

Tigrex Lance vid please. I really wanna see how you make it a cakewalk.

Also, I don't have my PSP so I can't see the training school modifiers or w/e.

Sorry, can't be bothered to record one atm. Here's blaze's Tigrex vs. Lance vid instead.

Scratch that, here's my vid.

Compared to LS, you can just block the roars instead of being forced to roll through them, and if you do opt to dodge the roar instead and fail at it, you always have the safety net of blocking any attack that follows.

Or are we talking kill speeds and not ease of kill?

if you really wanted to get a consensus you could list all the monsters and get all participating members to post their most common weapon type against each creature (only one weapon per monster) then you could collate the information and do a list of what was the most common weapon type for each type of monster...

I'd just like to mention that Lavasioth is one of the only moonsters that i can kill with a lance in MHFU. Currently working on Gunlance for White Fatty, just need the non downloadable one. Also I'd just like to say that Hammer isn't particularly good for Diablos, it's head isn't particularly weak+its hard to get to with the hammer, I might be wrong, not trying to stir any arguments. :)
So, I heard you like Swampertz? Why yes, yes I do.

I already added lavasioth to lance. It's under Piscines.

Diablos is easy to hammer. You're just doing it wrong. Follow this video

i have to say two things...the dodging in the beginning was amazing...i have never seen a lancing vid like that when i had to do tigrex training i turtled and made it get stuck on a wall then poked it. that was truly amazing. And two: woo metallica! I'm guessing that the people in minegarde are usually adults and you guys love metal and man music?
