Oh my. I remember my first experience with the Child of Destruction. I was K.O.ed in like 2 minutes.

I've had a couple bad experiences with Black Gravios.
Ever been hit with that beam twice in a row? I have.

I think it was one of those things where I was running from him, zig zagging and all that, and he beamed me - which took most of my life.... I flew forward and the same beam hit me again, which killed me.

Talk about a fight turning in a matter of seconds...

when you see a G-level monster limping you feel something inside of you that makes you happy an cool. but too cool that you forgot that limping g-level monsters are still strong. i had that with c blangonga, khezu and some others. i just chill when i see them limping and that they kill me lol

Indefinitely! I fought Yama so many times with my gun, I knew exactly how much shots I needed.
I usually took the Norm lvl2 out of box (free ammo, right?). This time, I forgot. Come to need it, I don't have it.
Also accidentally wasted farcaster. Had to run there, and back. First shot I shoot, kills him. With 0:19 on the clock.

Every hunt where I use two max potions is considered a hunt gone wrong.

Yeah I'm a minimalist when it comes to preparing for a hunt.

i useually take lifepowders, 10 potions, 10 herbs, and whatver amount of honey i get from my bee hive i make into mega potions. i almost had a fail hunt. almost got killed by g lvl khezu. killed him with 4:01 left. thanks to my obitaruy set. exculding gauntlets. i'm starting to love guns more and more now.

I was using Luna's Roar (the low rank one) on G Khezu.

Lol wat? Khezu vs gl? Upswing + side hop spam to the face ftw! Especially shelling after upswing since his neck has a low stagger limit.

I think the "gone wrong" part was using a low-rank weapon on a G-rank monster.

My own hunt gone wrong: Mega-King size Golden Rathian. Impossible to avoid backflips. T_T

yes! that happens to me too. it wasnt so bad when i was in elder and high but once i hit G-rank i suddenly got owned by limping monsters.

Crimson Fatalis (G rank) quest gone horribly wrong:

Before the first two minutes were up, meteor falls on me, Guts activates, I fly away, and another one hits me while I'm getting up. ONE LIFE GONE.

About 12 minutes in, I get hit by another meteor, and while I'm standing up and getting ready to pop my potions, Cool Drink wears off and I get killed by heat. TWO LIVES GONE.

About 19 minutes in, another meteor smacks me and activates Guts. As I begin to pop my Mega Potion, a shiny circle comes into view beside me...

same as Chaa, I don't like to waste my max pots speaking of that i have to refill my supply and against ss2 rajang i got destroyed every time so i have a lot of hunts gone wrong

When we were just starting out me and my friend saw YKK in Area 9 of F&H so we decided to kill it.

In the heat of the battle we were right next to each other, YKK goes into rage and WTFtackles us.

We get up (still right next to each other), and YKK immediately tail-whips us.

.. we get STUNNED. Right next to each other.

YKK decides to finish us off both at the same time with a single fireball.

Kitty cart. Double kill. Juggled by YKK from max HP to nothing.

And the quest was to kill 20 Bullfangos, not the YKK.

Just got off from a Dual Black Grav quest. One of the Black Grav's must be boasting to the other by now about how he took out 3 hunters with a single fire beam. :S
