Alright so...I'm a mainly hammer user and I recently played with a friend and we started two gunner only saves and I enjoyed the change of pace. So I'm wondering if I should get Gunner armor and a few ranged weapons. What do you think and if yes what's a good set and some weapons to get?

I like them all..I used a bow way back in village elder, and I used LBG in this new save, still havn't tried HBG yet except in training but it's supposed to kill things faster(which would be nice)

I like the bow for all the coatings that are always available - and I can fire at the drop of a hat! (and different charges!) Plus, unlimited ammo regardless - I didn't much like the prospect of having to buy/piece together individual bullets.

....that, and I actually like it that I can't block. To me it's more of a challenge that way. (I've eaten a few Diablos charges)

The trick I've seen is knowing when the put the bow away, and then being able to dive out of the way.

go bow first. Gunning at the start is very expensive with the ammo and all.

The only reason I started gunning was for specific monsters (Plesioth, Diablos, Gravios & Kirin)It makes farming for materials so much more easier and faster!! Longsword still has its place in my armoury, usually for slicing off tails and wings!

buying bullets is really not much of a problem. on village elder quests you can live off of the supply box normal 1 and other bullets. By the time it get's harder, you will have enough funds to buy better ammo.

Nah but yep maze is the dude to go to for gunning advice. But for now go and bow. Beginner's shouldn't be using HBG or LBG even though they're awesome. Make some good cash and have a large supply then go crazy on LB and HBG but for now use the bow. And bow helps so much, I've pwned the SS2 Rajang with it and most of my other Rajangs.

I don't capitalise it, because all the letters are of the same low profile. Just looks better to my eye; but if you were using the correct rules of English, it's a proper noun so should be. Not fussed either way
