the cat i have that knows heroics specializes meat and milk both are 2*, lvl 9. I think I' gonna kick some out to get some more gunner friendly felynes even though i feel bad kicking them out.....

Alright, I am making a new hunter. Since I figured out my version of MHFU was EU so couldn't play with the girlfriends US version in person.
We had played on kai though.

I struggle with picking a weapon, like really bad.

What weapon should I use? I don't care or need a use what you want thing. I want to main one thing so pick it. I like all and will use all which is the tough thing. Just melee weapon not ranged

Since you aim to play with someone else, I suggest SnS; great mobility and armed item usage. Very good with Quick Eating skill.

Or HH for support KO and buffs.

There is a CWCheats code that lets US and EU versions play together. There should still be a link to it on the forum, I'll look around a bit.

Thanks, I have the one for MHP2G but couldn't find the EU version of it.
And rather not play with my P2G hunter, G rank gear and low rank monsters isn't a ton of fun for
that long

guys got 2 questions 2 ask. First....How is that I used heroics on the first rajang from final invitation and he still survived? second i followed almost every step of maze's lao shan guide with the hammer but I couldn't kill him! any tips on how to kill lao because i still havent managed to yet.

Did you run out of time or die on the Raajang quest?
If ran out of time, may have not been doing enough damage.
Even with heriocs it is still possible to do so.

Killing Lao is a bitch.
Get a better hammer if possible.
Use more attack up buffs or adrenaline/heriocs.
Only things I can think of that may help.
Do you repel him at least?

it took me a 10:05 minutes to kill the first Rajang. Which I find strange using a rapid ice bow with heroics and constantly hitting him.
I don't think I needed attack buffs for Lao. I did something wrong. Maze used the exact same armor and wep as me and killed him in 25 mins and I only repelled him.
btw how to get fata devil eyes?

Try to get more hits on the head each time it turns around after it does the punches/side-to-side dash.

that's the thing! I did heroics on it in hope that this can help me break both horns easy! but i only got 1 horn broken when i killed it. I fail at hitting it on the head while it turns unless u can show me a vid on how to do it.

just a quick question, i only discovered minegarde a few days back and its a great website with TONS of useful info but for some reason, i cant seem to access the armoury list, is there something im doing wrong? when i search for armours i tried all sorts of tags like the exact armour name or the name of the monster used to craft it but whenever i try, it just makes the search box disappear and turns up 0 results. Advanced search hasn't helped either. Did i miss something important ? i looked all over the forums but turned up no info on it at all. please help D:

You don't need heroics. I usually do Final Invitation for hard horns also. Focus, Cap Up, NormalsS Up is all you need, or you can swap Cap Up for RA+2/Adr+2 if you use the Uca bow.
Just aim for the head ONLY until both horns are broken. Release fully charged shots into its face so you hit it as it finishes turning after each attack. Use Power Seed/Mega Demondrug/Power Coating to speed up the first one.

Heroics gives you 35% extra damage I believe. Good if you don't get hit but not if playing too defensively makes you that much less aggressive.

you tried the main/original page - minegarde.com ? (here's the exact link to the armory - http://minegarde.com/wip/armory.php )

the armory is to the right in the little menu (it works. i checked). if you did a search in the forums, then it wont work since that just looks for topics with the name (and i doubt there are any topics on full sets or armor pieces)
