Most of us on Minegarde are pretty decent at the game, but there are some times when we just do something generally stupid, like that death by kelbi or that epic dodge into a straight agna-beam.

This thread is for those epic FAIL moments that reminds us all about our inner noob and also for the stupid things other players have done/said in your online gaming experience. Please try not to turn it into another rant thread though. It's just for laughs and embarrassing moments.

So I'll start...

I once tried to tranquilise a monster in a trap with paintballs. It took me a good half a minute and another trap before I wondered why it wasn't being captured.

I also ran into an arena quest dying 3 times in a row without hitting a monster.

first time i set bombs, I didnt know how they worked and what was what, so I set a detonator to the bombs, while everyone was setting bombs, and blew everyone up :D:D

accidentaly placed my last trap while it was a capture quest... i was alone. so yeah.. it was a hard time..

I cut alatreons tail into the lava. Tail Fail...

yesterday I died to Blos
He digs - I reload gun - BOOM half my HP gone.
Digs again - "swims" through me (blocked) - turned to face his direction to block when he comes out - dies

he was just a bit behind me so block did not work

Another one was when I fought jho. had no idea how to face his breath using a gun (actually you must face in his "body" direction, not the direction the breath goes). I learned the hard way

Also died 2 times on Dual Barioth quest before we even killed/capped the first one. It really looks funny to see a high HR die 2 times nearly failing the quest

When fighting Alatreon and he's put to sleep, I'd sometimes accidently position myself by his legs/neck so that when he sleeps, I can't get out. Sucks when that happens.

Pretty much everything I do is stupid...

It's worse when I go from Unite to Tri and end up messing up my positioning/dodging, mostly against ian/los.

Most of the time when I die I don't consider it a noob moment but rather more of a "Oh come on, how cheap was that!?" moment.

But whatever. Actually, last night I did have a small noob moment. I went to fight Barioth but forgot hot drinks...and steaks. In no time at all my stamina was down in the red. Also I was lancing. Yeah.

But it was also kind of an awesome moment too, because despite that ^ (and the repeated flying lessons given to me by stone), I didn't die, and I was actally able to do a good amount of damage.

When I started Tri, I was way too cheap to spend my own potions or even herbs, so I regularly ran to the bed when I ran out of first aid meds. I also ignored other people and went to quests alone so I'd have more first aids for myself (and I had plenty of money and honey)
The very first time battling him, I used the dragonator when Jhen wasn't even visible. I then proceeded to push that funny button which turned out to be the gong. And wondering the whole quest that somehow I couldn't find the trigger for the ballista binder

well now you say this, maybe i should make a topic on gunner and blademaster what to bring, cause I see a lot of people forgetting stuff lately.
I even saw a player forgot his whetstones , because he said he mined before... wut?
I can see that you forget cold or hot drinks, but beyond that I seems to miss it. shall i make the topic??

Actually I forgot whetstones against alatreon. Luckily I had fencing at the time to cover up my mistake. I also forgot well-done steaks another time, so I was on no stamina by the end of the quest.

Uhh when fighting ian the 1st time I dived out the way it hit me and sent me to area 5 I signaled chacha and he appears in the air I loled

Once on a jhen hunt, we was all waiting to dragonate him when he was coming in-front of the ship. So I was messing around (remember I was near the button so the icon was up) I tried to do an insta-guard with my greatsword, needless to say I stupidly made the dragonator go before jhen was even near the boat so yea...

When I tried to solo rage match, after both jho were i the arena I got pinned because he broke my guard, I threw a dung bmb but was still stuck it the animation after that the other did the eat me thing while I was still trapped in the animation ( dont know if it was glitch or somethin but it was sure weird and a I iz noob moment)

that happend to me too. i ran up to the drago in did insta guard with my lance but instead he hit the button... since this happend i never do it next to the nator.
