@  Jask : (30 October 2014 - 07:49 AM) I was at a friend's place for a horror tabletop game and we suddenly heard yelling and fireworks, for a fair amount of time.
@  Tuddle : (30 October 2014 - 07:05 AM) lvl World series champions, oh yeh :d
@  Halcyon Dtier : (30 October 2014 - 03:57 AM) lvl 29 in destiny, oh yeh
@  Basukesu : (28 October 2014 - 03:20 AM) Hmm, I just noticed that Safari on Yosemite actually looks at the background color of the webpage you are browsing and is mildly transparent if it is other than white thus spilling the color slightly into the window frame. Oo >< Damn you apple ! Little touches all over, but they still slowed down my Painter 12 >< GRRR!
@  BizzarreCoyote : (28 October 2014 - 03:08 AM) Then again, I need 6 people to even attempt this thing with in the first place. So yeah.
@  Basukesu : (28 October 2014 - 03:07 AM) It is obvious! (>' ')>`@ Cookie for you!
@  Basukesu : (28 October 2014 - 03:07 AM) Testosterone Pill Kick!
@  Mad Hatter : (28 October 2014 - 03:02 AM) You kids and your acronyms. Don't tell me; I'll figure it out.
@  BizzarreCoyote : (28 October 2014 - 01:04 AM) Just reading about the number of ways this Raid can TPK is ridiculous
@  Mad Hatter : (28 October 2014 - 12:14 AM) A good void weapon helps heaps.
@  BizzarreCoyote : (27 October 2014 - 11:46 PM) Still haven't even attempted the Vault of Glass. Not even kinda confident in my own abilities, or the abilities of my potential group.
@  Mad Hatter : (27 October 2014 - 09:47 PM) I hope to one day finish it. Preferably before the next raid comes out. Extra preferably before the first DLC drops.
@  Halcyon Dtier : (27 October 2014 - 09:46 PM) Destiny Raids are my bitch
@  Joker : (27 October 2014 - 11:08 AM) No doubt it's going to be getting lots of DLC and updates in order to remedy some of the problems but November has some pretty big games coming out that could knock Destiny's player pool down. I've heard rumblings from loads of players that say a horde mode would be great for Destiny and I have to agree. A survey showed that MOST people played PvE in the game anyway (explains why Bungie's latest update is all about PVP) so I think a horde mode would be great.
@  Joker : (27 October 2014 - 11:05 AM) Yeah, Destiny is a fun game to play but, for me at least, it's probably going to be taking a back-seat come November because there's a few games coming out that I'm REALLY looking forward to. I never followed Destiny when it was being hyped up so when I jumped on the bandwagon just as the game released, I never felt that sense of disappointment or anger when the game didn't deliver on what everyone thought it would. Still, I'm glad I picked it up because I do enjoy playing it and at the end of the day that's what matters most.
@  BizzarreCoyote : (27 October 2014 - 05:13 AM) Don't get me wrong: Destiny *is* a fun game, but so far, in the way that CoD games are. Play it through a few times, then forget all about it.
@  BizzarreCoyote : (27 October 2014 - 05:09 AM) I figured that was that case.

But yeah, Destiny feels like...half a game, to be honest. Like, a fuckton of lore is missing from the game itself, the dialogue seems...stiff sometimes, and there's just not too much to do.
@  Halcyon Dtier : (27 October 2014 - 02:19 AM) Feels = Reals
@  Mad Hatter : (27 October 2014 - 01:53 AM) But the base formula is fun. It's a shoot and loot with tight controls and cool looking guns.
@  Mad Hatter : (27 October 2014 - 01:49 AM) And I have to begrudgingly agree that Destiny still has a ways to go before it lives up to even a fraction of its potential.

The sig is terrible but its the first I've ever done!:P so lets get into the intro, this is elemental monsters weakness guide. This is basically a quick reference list to find what monsters are weak/resistant to what, just hit ctrl+F to find your monster and a listing beside it to show it's weakness and strength. (Later a resistance part will be added in!) I did this guide because I have seen it being asked of others what weaknesses monsters have and here I aim to provide a quick way for you to find out! :D I have made this guide soley on the basis of what I have experienced in the game myself, referencing the armour section in the shop and also referencing other guides for corresponding facts.
Feel free to hand this guide out I hope you do, don't publish it without written permission This isn't something to be re-sold to people, this was made to be free and I would like it kept that way :)

FAQ
****

Q1. How effective is element really?
A. Generally it can really make a difference in a fight, especially with something like SnS'. I usually go with a good raw and decent element, as a general rule. Unless I get some bitchin' looking weapon thats also pretty good. Yes I am shallow about my weapons sometimes over pracicality. But Element is effective, don't under-estimate it! E.g. fatty armour mode, or bounce attacks, element is effective but raw is nearly useless in these situations. There are some monsters that have major elemental weaknesses that I always abuse like plessy or los.

Q2. Why did you do this guide?
A. Thought some people might find it useful :) I knew I would've when I started. not many guides have resistances/weaknesses grouped in categories for multi monster comparisons either.

Q3. Do you have any other guides?
A. No. This was my first hope you enjoyed it :) I think I might make others in the future though if I feel compelled enough.

It's really irritating to have to scroll left and right for the Ice and Dragon weaknesses, especially since they're in the middle of the code box and the scroll bar is at the bottom.

As a result, I've taken the liberty to move them down a row. I've also changed a bit of the wording - "Q: Why did you do this guide?" as opposed to "Why did you make this guide?" and Velocidrome's negligible elemental resistances, as well as a few others I don't really remember. I've also formatted the thing so it all fits into one code box, with no need to scroll left and right. Think I missed a bunch of spaces, though, which is why the scroll bar is still there.

I've also changed the monster listing format thingy. For example, rather than "Monoblos(White too) the guide now says "Monoblos/White Mono." and for Plesioth, rather than "Plesioth(Green too)" it says "Plesioth/Green Ples." I feel it looks more professional this way and it's still easy to "ref with Ctrl+F".

For Unite-exclusive monsters, I've added the P2G names - or the Unite names if the P2G name was used. This applies to what is now displayed as Ucamulbas/Ukanlos, Naruga/Nargacuga, Volganos/Lavasioth, and Hypnoc/Hypnocatrice. Yamatsukami is exempt from this change as "Yamatsukami" and "Yama Tsukami"... well, not much of a difference there - not enough to warrant changing anyway. One-Eared Garuga is also exempt. I don't remember what I did to Plum Hermitaur and Terra Shogun.

(The real reason is that "Yama Tsukami/Yamatsukami wouldn't fit properly.)

That should be the extent of the changes I made. Oh, right. I also went through it and corrected all, or at the very least most of the typos.

EDIT. Missed a couple of the formattings. I've changed "Shogun Ceanataur (Red too)" (or whatever it used to be) into "Shogun Ce./Terra S." so that it would fit.

**Cephadrome, Kirin: Elemental attacks are nigh on useless against these two monsters.
***If I haven't missed any then any monster missing has a general resistance to elements or
else a negligible resistance to element (like Velocidrome, for example).

FAQ
****

Q1. How effective is element really?
A. Generally it can really make a difference in a fight, especially with something like
SnS'. I usually go with a good raw and decent element, as a general rule. Unless I get some
bitchin' looking weapon thats also pretty good. Yes I am shallow about my weapons sometimes
over pracicality. But Element is effective, don't under-estimate it! E.g. Fatty armour
mode, or bounced attacks, element is effective but raw is nearly useless in these
situations. There are some monsters that have major elemental weaknesses that I always
abuse like Plessy or Los.

Q2. Why did you make this guide?
A. Thought some people might find it useful <img src='http://forums.minegarde.com/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':)' /> I knew I would've when I started. Not many
guides have resistances/weaknesses grouped in categories for multi monster comparisons
either.

Q3. Do you have any other guides?
A. No. This was my first hope you enjoyed it <img src='http://forums.minegarde.com/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':)' /> I think I might make others in the future
though if I feel compelled enough.

This post refers exclusively to the Mediafire download.

If I'm reading this right, there's an error in your guide. It states that Fire is needed to break Chameleos' Horn, when the required element is Dragon. Furthermore, Chameleos is (IIRC) actually more susceptible to dragon than fire - they deal the same amount of damage on the head, but while invisible, Cham takes reduced fire damage (this is most apparent for DS uers on the legs).

I'm also pretty sure Daimyo Hermitaur is not spelt "Daiymo" - this occurs multiple times.
