Hey, you're that guy from HSG!
Lots of bands have gotten their names from movie references. One of the more popular cases is Duran Duran, who got their name from a line in the 60s film Barbarella, in which Jane Fonda's title character proclaimed "Oh Duran Duran" to the character named Duran.

I'm not familiar with HSG lol.
And yes. Not sure if this counts but Alesana got their name from the streets they were formed on, "Alice" and "Ana" streets.

Good. Some terrible, terrible things there. Dark parts of the fandom, etc.
Death Cab for Cutie got their band name from a song played in a movie. Can't remember what the movie was now though... I'll have to ask my father.
