Hi everybody,

Yesterday I decided to start play Monster Hunter Frontier. But I have a problem.
In fact, the free vpn makes my connection slow, and lags appear....

So, do you have a solution to have a good vpn ( free or not ) allowing me to use my connection to its maximum ?
I hope someone can help me ^^

Hello! To answer your question, you have a couple of alternatives.

EVPN is the most commonly used VPN by us Minegarde users. It costs $4.52/month and the guide to setting it up and using it can be found here: http://forums.minega...asy2game-guide/
It is usually reliable and fairly fast, with minimal lag. However, several people (including myself) have had quite a lot of issues with it lately and it seems to not be working for us at all, now. Most people still find it works fine, but keep that fact in mind.

Overplay on the other hand, is a very easy to use VPN which I have found to be faster and much, much more reliable. It's basically better in every way, except that it costs $9.95/month. You can obtain it here: https://overplay.net/
No guide is needed to set it up, as the interface is in English and very simple.

Good luck and I hope you've found all this helpful.

Sorry but e2g > overplay, overplay is reaaaaaaally slower (at least for jp server) i would say 3-4 time slower than e2g for loading time of mhf, 2 time more expensiv, and kill all your connection, instead of e2g proxying only mhf if you want.

Have you used both? I've tried each and as I said, overplay was much faster and hasn't randomly stopped working. On top of that, Overplay loads the game about 5 times faster for me and as for killing internet, it DC's me for all of a second, when I first connect and other than that, affects nothing.

I'd love to use EVPN, but I could not get it to work on Windows 7 64-bit. If anyone has the program or a guide to get set up on windows 7, I'd use it.

Also the support for EVPN really sucks. The guy asked me if I spoke English, then banned me on MSN lol.

Haven't used either EVPN, but try right clicking on the icon go properties>compatibility>run this program in Windows XP SP-3

This will effectively simulate that your system is running a 32-bit OS

Yap man i tryed both, seems it's some same efficacity for everybody =/. What's your kuestobodo loading time with over play ? Mine is about 7-10s with e2g, and pretty infinite with overplay.

If you're experiencing the 0kbs thing before starting the game, well, that's a given - EVPN only affects mhf.exe, not your entire computer, so 0kbs is gonna happen if you haven't started the game. Once the game has started this should increase. Besides, if the game runs fine after you've done this, what does it matter? :P

I think my problem is that I use a studient hotspot where ports are locked... So EVPN / Easy2Game don't work fine for me ( I'm from france ).
Do you have a solution for people in my case ( using hotspot to connect to the internet ) ?
