They replace quests and do not modify your save data in any manner. I have tested these myself and I have a showcase showing other Custom Quests working online.

They only ban your ID, you can make like 6

No, they ban your MAC address on your wii. The first ban is a temp 10 day ban, after that its forever. Even unmodded characters cant play online. You have to reformat your wii to play online. OR, figure out how to get that unban code to work. I myself screwed around with it but i couldnt. Luckily, ive only got the 10 day ban which was lifted today.

Btw, Asterisk, i do believe i may have sent you a message on youtube. But i havent recieved a reply. It was about getting custom quests to work and such.

It was a message along the lines of how exactly to get custom quests working, but more importantly, how to make my own.

I have knowledge of two ways;

1. Using a program (I cannot seem to get this to work. The quests just disapear from the list in-game)
2. Hex editing, not sure how to go about this.

I have looked but i cannot seem to find a guide on how to actually make them. Always just videos of the custom itself.

Id like to know if you would help me understand the process of making them. The way i have tried lately has been with a CQ editor. a program that opens the Quest00_eng.bin file. But that hasnt worked at all for me.

First of all, unless you want them offline I would not use Quest00, but Quest01. It also depends on the region you have, but unless you understand hex beyond the level of the guide, then you will have a difficult time dealing with the unknown values in the current quest editor. Sadly, I cannot teach them because aside from the hex you would have to learn how to deal with the random errors you receive despite inputting information correctly. I suggest forwarding the ideas you think are feasible and I can tell you if you can do it with the editor because I have been down the road of trial and error. Someone recently sent me a list 15 quests and I rounded it down to 2-3 feasible quests. So, unfortunately many ideas will not work...

I'm impressed with how much far you've been able to take these quests. I rarely play because of school/work but I'll hit you up the next time I have a free chance.

can you put the alatreon, jhen, and all 3 jho quests, as well as the quests that give conqueror seals in high rank into the offline section. put them in the low like 1*-2* parts. since those quests are worthless anyway. id like to be able to play them offline.

also, is it possible to edit the offline arena quests? if so, some of the high rank arena quests in offline would be fantastic. like the jho one and the agnaktor/barioth one.

and finally, is it possible to take the event quests as well? like the super ala and put that offline?

It is possible to put the quests offline; however, I choose not to because it can create banning complications when it comes to obtaining rare drops when your HR is not high enough online.

Event Quests are not on the disk.
