Its being a long time ago since I’ve played monster hunter, I also started on ps2 when the first monster hunter was released. It was amazing, a complete new kind of rp game, The first new option in monser hunter that I find odd and interesting, what that you couldent pause the game when you where out and hunting! the clock was still ticking and the monsters was still hunting when you pressed the “start” button xD But that was a long time ago, so now i’m back becasue of I heard that it is coming out on pc? but it is like 3-5 diffrent kind of monster hunters game out already? I have no ide about them which consolle they are to, and whats the diffrent about them? I kinda lost interest when I saw capcom was only going to create new monster hunter games to wii, psp and xbox, nothing on pc or ps3, among the 2 biggest consoles…. that just stupid. but if someone could enlighting me a bit about the new monster hunter game, just short notic what the diffrence about them, what does it look like now, about release dates to frontier? Enlightning me people with what you know pls =) // monster hunter fan

It's been out for ages.

Western people play the Japanese version, but you need to do a bunch of things in order to play it.
There's guides on here to help get you set up to play it.

Okey? I can acutally play monster hunter frontier if I install it with the guide? and it will be on english? and why is it so complicated so install it? will monster hunter frontier be released in stores so you can buy it just like any other game??

lol as halcyon said, its been out for about 4/5 years, it is out in stores, in japan only
so unless u live in jp, u wont see it in any store, as its japanese only
even so tho, you really dont need to buy it in a store, as packages do have installation cds, but they wont add anything to the game, just event armors/weaps/collection stuff, so might as well install it for free from the installer u can download
we got an english guild, which means u can talk to eng ppl etc, but the game itself will remain jp, menus, objs, everything
its online only, so most of the ppl ull see are jp, so cant really talk eng freely with ppl you dont know. and since theres an IP block for foreigner IPs (outside japan) u need to get through it to be able to get online
this is why installing it is kinda hard, need to install 2 diff programs, the one u actually need to play, and one to avoid the block
plus u need to pay if u really wanna play, unless u like killing veldromes & ykks so much lol

but ye, all written in guides

oh well, aside from the jp version there was a kr version, which got closed, and a tw ver, still running from what i know
nothing bout mhf in us/eu etc

hmm okey! thanks mate for the info, then I just have to suck it upp and install it the hard way if I want to play, but it the payment way safe? beacuee I dont use to feel so safe to pay on the internet. but I guess its safe because there is lots of ppl paying. I would really like to start to play monster hunter again. what does it cost? you pay monthly?

well yea, cant say its 100% safe obviously, just like u cant say a thief will never come and steal ur money in real life lol
but ye generally its safe, never heard of anything gone bad, capcom is legal n all, so yea, id not worry
ive been paying this for about 3/4 years n never had any problem
about costs its all written in the payment guide, just watch out for differences in currency
i usually go for the 3 months one (HLC = hunting life course, needed to rank after hr3 & do higher-ranked quests) + extra course (EX, needed for a few extra stuff in game, but not necessary to play)
used to pay 1 month each time at the very beginning tho
