Has Capcom themselves confirmed it? No? Then it isn't confirmed.

I'm sick and tired of getting my fucking hopes up every time someone says "Oh look, X game is confirmed!" Magazines have been wrong before, and it wouldn't shock me in the least to find out that this will either not happen, or if it does, not happen this year.

I never cared about justice and I don't recall ever calling myself a hero... I have always only fought for the people I believe in. If an enemy appears in front of me, I will destroy it!

That's the thing, Hope is the only thing we have left.

Kick logic out and do the impossible! Believe in the CAPCOM that believes in you!

Tri was very successful in NA. It was the most played online game on the Wii. It only makes sense that they would bring back a sequel. On top of that since there's barely any fantastic games for the 3DS outside of Mario Kart and SM3DL bringing it here would boost its popularity and just be a smarter choice overall.

I might be wrong and I'm not equipped to search this out right now, but TriG has no online last I checked.

Me too. But I'm not having any faith in Capcom and TriG until I see actual multiplayer gameplay.

So the smash hit Monster Hunter Tri G is hitting the west after all, it seems.

As per Official Nintendo Magazine UK, the game is estimated to arrive here in the Fall of 2012. According to GAF, the people in the now confirm that translation is well underway, and that Capcom is adding an online mode for the game for western audiences (which are more inclined to online gaming than local gaming, which is traditionally what Monster Hunter has been about).

Expect a full announcement at E3. Nintendo is expected to handle the game's marketing and distribution in the west, ala Monster Hunter Tri and Dragon Quest IX.

Taken from OP's link. Provided you believe the guy. Then again... if you don't, probably no kind of source from the internet will convince you.
Let the Hunt begin.

Tri G has no online, and Capcom is definitely not implementing it just to pump out a few more sales in the west, assuming they even take this to the west.

You apparently didn't read any of the sources provided to you.

You apparently still can't connect the dots. You're also naive if you put any stock into these so-called "sources".

Exactly.

If you don't trust these sources then that's fair enough but let's not get carried away. Keep it civil, guys ;)

All right because Nintendo Magazine wasn't enough for you. You know, the guys that's hosting the game on their console. We'll see.

Sorry to disappoint you all, but Western localization/release has NOT been confirmed by CAPCOM.

Funny how some magazines publish ETAs on games when they don't even know if they are getting localized.

Official Nintendo Magazine is barely associated with Nintendo, if at all.

I really hope it gets confirmed. I'm dying for some more Monster Hunter. 3DS, Vita... I don't care, just give it to me and i'll blow all my money.
