RUMOR: Nekkei Trendy reported that Capcom will be bringing out a new Monster Hunter title for PS Vita in the second half of 2012 and the source is an industry insider.

maybe this help the psv sales

Wouldn't surprise me. That's if it exists at all though, and there are rumours that the rumour is in fact complete bollocks. Which is disappointing really, I'd love a new MH game on the Vita.

Merged the two topics together.

A new Monster Hunter game would definintely help the Vita's sales (especially in Japan) but, as usual, everybody else has to wait to find out whether CAPCOM remember they have a western audience.

Apparently they only sold 42000 psv's last week whilst 3DS sold 197000 :/ 3DS nearly outsold all the other consoles put together...

According to this article an upcoming MH game is going to be on the PSVita. This article mainly talks about a "3DS Lite" being released in Spring but a small section points out that the Vita is getting a Monster Hunter game. These are rumors however. Opinions?

Yeah when PSV comes out internationally they stop making games for them.Right now PSP basically are only for the FF type-0

Capcom guys say that easily accessible multiplayer = western release

So if the Vita has better multiplayer capabilities I bet it'll see the west

Well that's up to Capcom then. Vita has wifi (just like the PSP did) and 3G models. There's your multiplayer opening. the problem is it's up to Capcom to make the servers and code in the online functions.

I was kinda surprised to that MHTriG had no online features.Please Capcom,Vita have a online ability like PS3.

Ugh. I should save up some money, sell my PSP, and get a Vita...

That is, IF there is a western release. If it's Japanese only I won't give a shit.
God, give me the strength to resist buying a Vita...
