Mhfu EU and US problems..

My friend has a copy of the Us version of MHFU, I have the EU version..Obvious problem eh..
I have even bought him an EU copy thinking he wouldn't have to start again, he is HR9 and it would be a very arduous task to start again. Is there any way in which his save can be switched to an EU region? And I'm not into piracy... Hence buying a new copy..
Anyone in the know? I'd really appreciate some info.

There are CWCheat codes that allow US games to play with EU games. I know they exist, but I don't know where... think they're on the forum.
