I downloaded the armour skill simulator yesterday and decided to have a mess around with it. after using the guide here I found that it was taking me a long time to figure anything out, so I decided that I'd translate it. It came out a lot better than expected with only a few hours of work.

For anybody who hasn't used this before who doesn't quite get how it works, be sure to read the guide mentioned above.

Here it is: http://shadowruby.co...rmour%20Sim.htm

What has been translated:
  • Practically every skill name has been changed to the English name so that it is easy to select skills for an armour and see what skills an armour piece or set will give you.
  • Practically every component to the actual page so that it is now easier to navigate and use.
  • Some of the actual "skills" gained from skill points have been translated.

What has yet to be translated:
  • The actual skills gained from points, in a lot of cases. While a few are done, I wanted to upload this version (since everything necessary has been translated) and update it to support these later.
  • Material names. I don't know if I'm actually going to try and do this because there are several thousand items in the game and I don't know if I'm going to get round to translating them.
  • Some of the filter buttons for series, as I'm not sure what they're supposed to be.

What will not be translated:
  • Armour names. There is no use in changing the names of the armours as you would then have to convert the name back into Japanese when you wanted to find an item in-game.
  • Series names. These are kind-of used in the code in that if you change a series name, any armour set which contains that series name will not be found from series search.

Things to note:
  • "Skill Descriptions" and "Skills" links do not currently work. I redirected these away from their original links in the hopes of translating those pages soon too so that there's also an easy reference for skills and such, but I haven't gotten around to this, so currently these don't work.
  • Material links do not work because they linked locally to the items on the original site - something that will be fixed soon.

Thanks to L¬¬'s guide for allowing me to understand this in the first place, and thanks to the people who actually made the website in the first place, because it's a damn useful tool. I just hope this helps and speeds up armour set searching and creating.

It doesn't look bad but its not really hard to use the armor sim. you kinda get used to it the more you try it, well in my case that's how i learned.

It's more for the sake of people who've never used it before to get a feel for where everything is and such, and for people who aren't farmilliar with the skill names.
