Huh, fire weapons, eh...I'm guessing the Conch series armor doesn't have HP regeneration until FX version? Seems like that was the case with Meran armor and everything.

I hope Abiorugu has some actual new attacks and isn't just a Fire Jho. The only new stuff that I can tell from those scans are the spines from his tail swipe...whoopdie do.

I'm not exactly sure I understand what you're saying.

Are you saying the spines isn't new because another monster has it? Duh. I know that. It's new in comparison to Jho. The only differences between Jho and this guy so far, are the skin, the element, and those spines.

Oooh a new crab type, I was not expecting that at all. He looks pretty cool too. Now I'm actually excited.

Abiorugu has some good differences to Jho now that we have a video of him fighting, so I'm looking forward to that too.

Abiorugu Gou weapons confirmed! Fire elemental w/ Red>Blue>White>??? sharpness lvl, Lvl 4 pellet on 3rd charge on bow

New monster: Taikun Zamuza
New and Extended Tide Island Areas, and that new monster's lair.

New skills:
Throwing knife skill makes you throw knives in a much faster motion. New combinable knives like Knife G is a new item that are also useable (does not need skill I think?).
Some Rasta Skill, lol.
Anti Defense down skill

A couple of new Titles from the new monsters.

Gook:
More Gook variations to choose from and crap to do for them, customization, etc! w
Gook items like bombs are now available for exchange.

Feature Weapons:
Depending on the day, you will get bonuses for that weapon!
I might need better xlations but here goes:
Sns - Elem/status up, DS - Faster speed on demon mode?
GS - 100% crit, LS - Atck up on full gauge atk up
Hammer - More KO, HH - Buffs will last longer
Lance - Guard enhancement up, GL - Bullets and wyv fire power up
LBG - Status shot up, HBG - Critical dmg multiplier up?, Bow - faster something?

I'll update and edit these once I get more info (or I can actually type in the crap so I can xlate), lol
Mebbe by tomorrow once MH blogs updates~ xD

Pretty sure the Rasta skill just prevents you from hitting your Rasta, and vice versa, least that's what I could tell from the moonrunes I read.

Interesting there wasn't the usual quick showing of HC monsters in the trailer though. As they've still got some monsters left lacking HC versions, and it seems unlikely they'd suddenly give up on the concept... which ones turn up this time will be a mystery, I guess.

Here is a more updated xlation, I'll just recopy it here and edit:

Feature Weapons:
Depending on the day, you will get bonuses for that weapon! You will see a display on the top of your screen while in Meze Square indicating what are the current Feature Weapons for the day and the ones that will be featured next.
(Note: This will be implemented at the end of February. Also, I'm just assuming most of these skills are going to be stackable with the armor skills.)

Sns - Elemental & Status UP skills
DS - Slows down the stamina drop during demonization mode (Runner)
GS - 100% crit on unsheathe (Crit Draw)
LS - Bonus Attack UP granted when Full spirit gauge is triggered
Hammer - KO Status UP
HH - Note Effects will last longer (Flute Expert)
Lance - Guard Performance up (Guard+1 or 2?)
GL - Bullets and Wyvern Fire power up (It should power up the Heat Blade as well)
LBG - Abnormal Status Shot UP
HBG - Critical Damage at a Distance UP (Similar to the Precision+2 effect)
Bow - Fast Charge (Rapid-Fire)


New Skills:
Throwing Knife 【スローイングナイフ】 - Faster and different Throwing Knife motion (speed differences between +1 and +2). You will also only consume only one knife even with a multiple knife throw. In addition, you will be able to combine Throwing Knife G during the quest.
Caring 【いたわり】 - No friendly hits with your Rasta like with Legendary Rastas
Iron Skin 【鉄面皮】 - Disables Defense DOWN effect

A couple of new Hunting Titles: 「アビオルグハンター」 for 20 Abio Hunts and 「タイクンザムザハンター」 for 20 Zamuza Hunts.

Gook:
-You can now take care of up to 3 Gooks at once in My Garden
-New Gook Quest Items like the Gook Bomb
-New Unusual Colored Hair/Feather Gooks (from feeding them like Poogies?)
-New Costumes and Playgrounds

Extended Tide Island:
-New holes and areas have been discovered as the Tide level in the island changes

New Monster - Taikun Zamuza(Early April):
-Discovered in the depths of the Tide Island when the tide is low
-A "Hammer" on its right claw and a "Slashing" claw on its left
