As the post count per day gets lower and lower, the spambots selling weiner pills and cheap shoes continue to grow.

The forum is dying. Which leads me to believe that everyone's too busy playing Dark Souls or some other game. Which leads me to another point.

CAPCOM, bring a fricking monster game to America will you. Its quite obvious were all done and finished with Unite AND your latest attempt at improving on the last 4 identical games that came before it (mhp3rd).

Its no wonder nobody buys your game in the states. A genius idea, with a (very) hardcore experience. Yet they choose to piss around and not capitalize, advertise, or revolutionize the series. Pity, even Monster Hunter Frontier would do quite well, if only they would spend a little and market the stupid game.

The forum isn't dying. The forum has been about the same amount of dead as it has been for months. Such is the nature of it. It'll get a boost when DS monhan comes out, then idle out again.

Yeahp, no one gives a crap about mh anymore. Minegarde got a gigantic boost when MHFU came to the west because it was so HARDCORE. Capcoms dumbing it down though, making easier for noobs and too easy for veterans. I just feel like they're not giving it their all anymore in the series v_v

Nobody cares about the core groups. They'll always be around. New users come and go all the time, yet nobody stays. Hell, nobody even posts. Its all RPG forum and MHP3rd video threads. No scratch that. Its all video game threads that have nothing to do with MH

Yus, because people want to talk about new games. When (and if) a new MH game is released in the West then people will likely want to talk about that new game. Until such a time other new games will probably get more attention. The forum isn't dead or dying, it's just a bit quieter. It still gets new regulars from time to time.

If people want to recommend new games they just got or ask about games that they're thinking of trying but not sure about -- why not discuss it with a fellow fan of MH? We know most of us have a similar taste in games here.

well this forum is sustaining mainly from old games, its obvious it will start to get low on people, and its very sad this awesome game died in occident before it went to its peak.

Also what else can be said about the game, unite is 3 years old (with 2g) all that could be told or learned have been done, and P3rd was so simple and easy that people breezed through it and even hex opened the game, even the size monsters could be exploited without any hacking. And thats why there arent any in game interesting topics, other than x person vids, a newb asking for help, toke jopics, or just trolls, the last one thankfully not really prominent here in minegarde. Even every time i entered blaze's stream they were playing pokemon xD

Thats whats disappointing about video games. There gets to be a point where everything is figured out, there's a wiki article on it, and a million FAQ's that go in depth on how it works. Its so cool when something first comes out and everyone gets to share that cool new thing they found, or the easy way to beat this particular monster.

Easy way to skip that disappointment is to NOT READ in-depth FAQs and figure stuff out yourself. That's how I play old games that are new to me, anyways. But yeah, games don't last forever, they lose what makes you want to play them after you know pretty much everything about them. Constant updating would probably get boring with the same old mechanics, too.

Agreed, i never look up a FAQ until i played the game long enough to wanna go really in depth with it, like going totally technical in MH, damage calcs for stagger locks, etc.
But actually i wouldn't get bored if the game had the same mechanics for all his existence if it manages to keep a fresh feel, that monster hunter and his recolors and re-skins isn't helping at all. But i think im going off topic
