I m having hard time in troublesome pair(which is 5* elder urgent quest).Mostly i do gq with my friend bt he's off due to the exam in november so i start to do elder quest.My hr is 4 i think.Suggest a ds ..
So which monster should i aim for first rathalos or rathian?I try aim for rathalos with my kirin ds bt after a while like about 5min rathian fly to area 4 to meet rathalos and kill me T_T..keep roaring and spamming fire ball to each other,cant seem to kill them when they are together.






I m a ds user mainly use ds bt after i know the monster move's..i will start to use hammer to break part.From my experience i found that ds can easily and speed cutting any monster tail using dd(which is demon dance).I cut off diablos tail in about 30sec.

Duals will absolutely trash both Rathian and Rathalos if you know what you're doing. Both are exceptionally weak to Cutting damage on their heads, and have enough exploitable opening for you to take good advantage of it.

Rathian starts at Area 9, I think; it's the long one that links up to area 3. Since I hate fighting in Area 9, I normally go after Rathalos first. Hit it a bit, and when Rathian comes, paint them both (try to keep track of which is which) and go to Area 5.

Watch the dots and go back to Area 4 when one leaves. You can bring a flash bomb and throw it to alert the remaining one to the fact that you're there.

Dunno which one it'll be that stays in Area 4, but whack it til it dies. When it leaves, just follow it.

The basic strategy is to focus on one of them, and when the other shows up, paint them both and leave the area.

From whats i can say dual's is not some kind of trash weapon.I just did the quest using a noobie ice ds,the record was 10min45sec.And thanks for your info bt i will rather aim for ian now on..then after ian is dead then los.

Whats armor set should i use to fight azure los and black diablos and diablos?
My armor set was full garuga with the mask-lvl 10.
Weapon-cool dagger,blade edge(never use this b4 coz its sucks),raven tessen,kirin bolt,holy saber.which one will the best weapon against the three monster that i mention above?

Actually, Bladed Edge+ is a strong weapon for low rank. I understand if you don't bother upping your Bladed Edge, though.

Yian Garuga with the Garuga mask is king of all low rank armor, don't bother taking it off until HR5 when you get Ceanataur S (or if you want to go gunning).

Azure Los is weaker to cutting damage on the head, so I'd take raw duals myself (Raven Tessen or Bladed Edge would be my pick). I suppose you can take ice duals, though; they're not really a bad pick. Hope you're using Freezing Daggers instead of Giaprey Claws+, though.

Diablos is mostly weak to ice, but he takes more Thunder damage on the legs, which you'll be hitting quite a bit. I'd personally take raw duals, but once again, Freezing Daggers isn't a bad choice. I'm not sure about Kirin Bolts; I never used them for much.

Just did four horn quest with kirin bolts..45min for killing two T_T.
Got no luck for azure los with freezing dagger.Oh..oh...i m thinking of killing chameleos for elder dragon bone to make a dragon ds bt the only fire ds i got is twin flames..which is yellow sharpness(anyway to increase the sharpness to green?)..i try using my lbg,hbg,ls,hmr,bow,still no luck on it coz its cloaking device it decent T_T..
Well...since i dont really like to double post then i will ask all my question here:
Whats armor good for a bow user at 6*?(this is for a friend).He currently got full garuga except the helm is barrage piercing.
