Wind blowing from the northeast. A fresh scent of nature abounding the 4 men, trekking the most remote of the mountains. The sun is shining brightly, lighting up the environment with a joyous vibe.
Book 2:A Trail of the Past
Flux's tiredness grew noticeable as they ventured in the mountain forest. He was slowing down, and the gap between him and the others grew. Ariax, Ric and Galvin continued on with their stories to pass time, without noticing Flux. Flux then stopped for a moment, took a deep breath, then sat down on the grassy ground. Turning to his back,
"Hey, if you want to be a hunter, get used to this." Ric calmly whispered.
Flux quickly swung his head from side to side.
"Don't worry, he's still not used to this kind of work. Here, let me carry you for a moment." said Galvin, reaching his hand out. He carried Flux in his back and continued on their journey. Ariax was smiling at the back, as he was seeing bond developing among them.
"Brother, where are we going?" asked Flux.
"We are going to find meat. And by meat I mean Bullfangos. Do you know what a bullfango is?" said Ariax.
"Four-legged creatures having two tusks mainly used for digging up food. They are docile creatures, but when startled, will rampantly charge at you."
"Whoah, the kid got brains." said Ric, laughing in impression.
"Say, where do you get this stuff? Have you been hunting without my notice?" asked Ariax.
"Well, Lucas and I like to observe things from afar. We always climb up trees and use our binoculars, seeing if there is anything interesting to look at. Since the merchant across the street is kind to us, she has been lending her books to us. So if we found out something new, we quickly borrow the books and find what it is." replied Flux.
"I see. That'll prove useful when hunting! Good job!" said Ariax while patting his head.

"Yo Flux, are there any Popos on the stars? They all seem cold enough for popos to live in, don't you think?" a kid spoke, pointing at the stars.
"Why ask me? I still know nothing about this beautiful world..." another kid said.
"Mmphf. I want to hug a popo someday, but people are hunting them for their tongues!"
"Eek. Really??"
"Yeah..."
The two kids started to feel drowsy, so they decided to call it a day.

Book 1:The Inharmonious Bond
I see Popos on that star... They all look so... peaceful...
----
"Wake up Flux!!! Its time for breakfast!" yelled a young maiden.
----
So... tranquil...
Wait... is that water?
----
The young maiden threw a bucket of water to Flux, waking him up.
"You're dreaming again. Have you and Lucas been staying up late again?" asked the maiden.
"Yeah... Sorry, but the stars were so beautiful last night! I think I saw a figu..."
Before Flux could even continue, the maiden told him "Hurry up, hurry up. This day brother's going to show you things about hunting. He'll bring along his fellow huntingmates, so watch carefully! Now, eat the breakfast I made for you. You have a long day today!"
"But Crystal...--"
"No buts. Come on now, the sun is nearing the mountain."
[I had no choice but to follow. My sister has never been bossy before I was 8. I think she is trying to maintain the image of our family despite our parent's death. I came from from a family known to produce great hunters. Each generation has their own batch of renowned hunters, so we are quite famous around Yukumo, our home village.]
As Flux finished his breakfast, Crystal, his elder sister, gave him a set of leather armor to wear. As he stepped out of their house, he saw 3 men waiting for him. One was his brother, Ariax, who was carrying a Greatsword called Brunhild, and the other two were unfamiliar faces. One was carrying a bow, the other a long, pointy lance. All of them were wearing a soft, spongy armor.
"Guys, meet my brother and my future partner, Flux. Flux, meet Galvin and Ric. We've been hunting together for 2 years, I'm sure you've caught even a tiny glimpse of them." said Ariax.
Flux introduced himself, and the two did the same. Flux unknowingly left a deep impression to the two.
"I think this kid might be something great someday, but I'm not sure if its in the hunting category..." Ric whispered to Galvin. Galvin nodded.
"Now Flux, today we're going to teach you the basics on hunting. Its our family's tradition, and I feel you will be a great hunter someday! You might even exceed me in your skills! Now, lets head to the mountains to see if there's anything there." said Ariax.
The four then left the village on their way to the mountain.
