Hey,
Searched for a left 4 dead 2 thread and there didn't seem to be one.
I've just recently got this game, does anyone have any pro tips for it?
I've played killing floor and been told L4D2 is similar.

I haven't played in forever.
Listen very closely to noises. All special infected make noise when moving and standing, and if your earbuds/headphones are good enough, you can sometimes tell where they're coming from and how far away they are. It also helps to learn their unique spawn jingles.
Don't try to shove Jockies mid lunge. It doesn't work.
Save Boomer Bile for when the Horde rushes you or they are alerted to your position. Pipe bombs work as well, but Bile keeps them distracted longer.
Molotovs bounce off walls. Be careful when throwing them in confined areas.
The tank is faster than you if you run backwards, but if you are above 50 health, you will outrun him.
Adrenaline makes you immune to the slowdown effect of being attacked by common infected, but they can still block you with their bodies.

Did you get for steam?
Never separate from your team mates, two groups of two do not work.
When playing versus as the infected, computer controlled survivors will headshot you from across the universe
shoving is your friend, especially on a boomer. if you kill it close range you will get hit by bile, shove him and then kill when hes not in your face
Dont be be stingy with your shots or pills, remember, sharing is caring

Yeah got it on steam.
Should be playing it tonight if my net gets fixed.
I've got a low signal for my cable internet and the ISP
is coming out to fix it today.
Thanks for the pro tips.
