Gameplay (combat)



Released on September 1st here in Japan, it is one of those games that exploits the console it was made for rather well. For me personally it ranks up there as one of those games as art type of deals. The story is pretty strong since it involves 3 kingdoms. Nice multiplayer options ensure long game play and oodles of tinkering and customization options are all available.

The game is a nice addition to any PSP Tactical/action RPG collection and is a treat to play as well as to look at.

I hope this game gets some attention in the west but given the release of the PSV in just over 3 months here in Japan, I fear this game will remain only in Japan.

Looks pretty sweet. A tactical game worth playing in multi-player. It might get released in English seeing tactic ogre and knights in the nightmare were ported over.

Playing it now with a decent english patch. screw the storyline but at least I can play.

I'm awed by it's graphic and fluent animation.

Me too I think the sever must be region locked.

I think the connections are region locked. You may be able to set up a proxy to get around it though.

The game isn't region locked just the network it talks to. You will get plenty of error 50 issues with it outside of Japan.

As for the coins they:

Blessed coins will trigger a Event mark to appear near the lake when you collect 50 of them, they will give you an epic staff.

The save may need to be set to recognize a localized version. But technically most games are not region locked. As usual I am sure you can ask for a save conversion from the usual folk ;-)

The game is now available via download on PSN Japan, for those of you with an account who can't wait. It is also about 12 bucks cheaper than getting it on UMD.

Still playing it to this day, fun as hell.
