Oh hai! I like to draw things... like doujins and stuff. My boyfriend and I make them together. ANYWAY, I won't be posting everything I've ever done, but I will post this picture I sketched during a convention I attended recently.

Yeah, I know it's not completely right. I didn't have a reference at the time... but I won't be making such mistakes again! >.<

I don't think so. I visited your thread and I think you're very talented. I think I will want to make a MonHan doujin in the near future, and you are welcome to come collaborate if you'd like.

Thanks! I thought it was okay, too. I remembered the Barioth Helm(or is it cap?) the best I think, not surprisingly. They've redesigned a lot of the armor for 3G anyway. So I feel somewhat justified for making it a little original.

It's true, I do have less than 10 forums posts so far, but I've been lurking these forums for a while. Now that I've signed up, I plan on sticking around. I am a MonHan player, after all... and I don't see any reason why I shouldn't try to attract some attention here in the creativity section. It's here for members to post in anyway. In fact, I feel very free to tell you that I hope my drawings and comics get enough attention one day to allow me to earn a living doing this thing that I love.
I do, however, understand if you are wary of me. And I can assure you that I'm here to celebrate MonHan just like any other person here. I just draw and want to share it.

Very nice drawing. How long did it take you? I quite like your work on the sword and the depiction of its unsheathing. I've seen big, published mangaka with pretty well refined art styles that couldn't draw swords for shit. You can really see it flying out of the scabbard.

XD I'm unfamiliar with Homestuck, but it looks pretty cool. Perhaps I ought to give it a try!
I think the drawing took maybe 2-3 hours, kind of half-distracted. I was attending panels and wandering around Dragon*Con in Atlanta, GA. And I drew this one while I was either waiting for panels to start or during idle time. And thanks on the sword! I've been practicing drawing motion blurs into my pictures a little more lately, so I'm happy to hear that it looks natural enough. ^w^
