Here's my high score for Imperishable Night. No, this isn't a vanilla Touhou 8. I couldn't find one, so i asked from my friend. I'm happy that i beat his high score though




I would love to play Imperishable Night again, though. It's fun fighting different Stage 4 and Stage 6 bosses, depending on which team you use and if you chose Ending A or B. ZUN should do something like that; only Touhou 4 and Touhou 8 have something like this, though. :/

Also, pretty nice job on MoF, Hena. I never really liked Mof's scoring system, you can easily screw up so much with a few little mistakes...
And I need to look into IN's system a bit more <.<

SWOIKJNDKSLJND- seriously, if you ask me to get MoF or SA done, i can't xD That Faith Point scoring system is meant for those who serious work their way with the scoring system. I has no freakin' idea how to do it. You two are good


And as for IN's system. What i do is: Humans = Easy/Normal. Youkai = Hard/Lunatic.

You get points in human state by hitting enemies. You get points by grazing in youkai state. It's all about the situation.

Here's my Extra Stage run.

I am seriously SURPRISED at the number of high scores! I mean, how many people played this game before my friend sent it to me....




Meh, not a good high score at all! But i'm pretty surprised that i beat the rest of them @_@ I think i'll go play Extra Stage again; using Remilia-Sakuya actually gets you the best score, depending on which spellcards you cleared.

Edit: I JUST noticed that they haven't cleared Extra Stage at all. I guess that's the slight reason why they didn't achieve such high scores.... I'll look into it; i'm spending more of much time in IN in the Spell Practice, not the actual stages.

Clearing Last Words is fun XD



Re-Edit: I just went to youtube and saw the highest score anyone has achieved on Extra. @_@ 1275870260. I'm lacking behind xD

They say Youmu solo is better for score since it's easier to manage the phantom gauge. True, all world records are made by Youmu. =/

Youmu is too fast for me to use. But if you use her in Easy, she's the best chance for you to claim high scores.

No focused movements + human mode = time points like eating a buffet breakfast.


And it isn't true for Hard/Lunatic. Remilia-Sakuya's team slightly better, because you can switch between both human and youkai.

Also, Remilia's team has the largest graze box. Remilia's team skill + Youkai side's graze counter time points bonus = She's your best bet at Lunatic. Tried it once. Works like a charm. But of course, you gotta be sick as hell to go close to all those danmaku.

Koishi, my favourite character since her name sounds like my name ( Koichi ).



I swear, Double Spoiler has a strange bug. When you replay a scene the first time using Hatate in every game start-up, you will ALWAYS see Aya. That isn't Aya, that's supposed to be Hatate :/

And from the video, you can see that i just got this high score recently. No extra tries, i swear; this is my FIRST run with Hatate on this spellcard.

Actually, all world records ARE made by Youmu. Even on TD, and she's even harder to use then D:

I usually do, I just have a habit of stubbornly trying to survive everything. I have to remind myself that I have replenishable bomb stocks in Mof >.>

Here my new high score for Imperishable Night Extra Stage.

Personally, i am freaking happy right now
I woke up, viewed your new high score, Silent ( I guess that's what your name is ), turned up my IN, played Extra using Remi-Saku just once, and suddenly i see how i improved alot after 10 months of no Touhou except Touhou 10.5 mostly. So yea, may not be a higher score, but it's a personal triumph.

^ Totally agreeing to this. Though, it may actually stretch the original multiboard to a whole lotta scores xD I guess we should start clearing stages with every character? I've been using Reimu only though; there's no way i'm giving straight shot attacks like Persuasion Needles.

*stares at spellcard listing* ....I am ashamed to say i ' ACCIDENTALLY ' bombed at Fujiwara ' Flaw of Forgiving Shrine '. If not, that would have been 9. And Hourai Doll got me off guard, which then i could have gotten 10; i forgot that it was left, up, right, down, rinse and repeat. Can't blame the fact it's been 10 months, orz.

But hey, 'least we had fun :'D I miss the good ol' days of playing Touhou. Now with school an' all, it's getting harder to play my favourite game.

Tried another MoF run at school with ReimuB. Didn't save the replay, but I know I bombed a lot more, died a lot less.

I practically bombed all the way past Aya's cards.

Score was around 54xxxxxxx. Very close to my original high score. Thus showing that lives are damn important in MoF.
