Pretty simple, list your top 5 favorite male and female antagonists and villains. They don't have to actually be evil, just serve an antagonistic role to the main character in the series.

Lelouche (codegeass) - Not a true villain but his actions could often be described as evil and corrupt.
Kano Shou (History's Strongest Disciple) - Probably my favorite character for males
Virgil (devil may cry 3)
Illadin (Warcraft 3)
Sephiroth (final fantasy 7) - This game turned me into an nerd, how can it not have a spot on the list.

Female:
Viola (Z.O.E)
Evangeline A.K McDowell (Mahou Sensei Negima) - Possible Fav female villain
Malevolent(Kingdom Hearts/Original Disney Movie)- Really well potrayed in both, true disney villain.
Hexadecimal (reboot) - So insane, so hilarious. Possible Fav female villain
Revy (Black Lagoon) - Babe that duel wields 2 pistols? Yes please
