I won't buy a new console just for 2 games, I'm a Monster Hunter fan, yes, but still no to 3DS from me.
Besides, it doesn't say it'll be exclusive right? I still have high hopes for the Vita.

my conclusion to this is Capcom has gotten greedy and doesnt want to develop a game that will cost more to make since they know it might not do that well in places that isnt japan

and if thats how the gameplay is gonna be in MH4 i dont really know how i feel about it reminds me to much of SotC(which is my favorite game of all time) but ya idk if it would really be the same i guess we will have to wait and see

I think they will eventually port games, and actually, I think Vita will get its own Monster Hunter, maybe MHP4 or something.

I watched the trailer, in my opinion they are experimenting too much, Monster Hunter could use some changes but this is just too much.

I think I'm over the MH series now.

Console jumping, not bringing certain releases out in the west.
There's no point in getting excited over new releases any more
as they probably won't come out in a western release and
will be on whatever handheld I don't buy.

We wanted new elements to Monster Hunter gameplay, not a totally different gameplay. This doesn't even look like Monster Hunter. So much running... platformer style gameplay... what looks like quicktime events... we didn't even see the hunter use his weapon... what?

The radically different gameplay aside, the quality looks kinda low. I realize the 3DS might not be as powerful, and that this is an early video, but it really looks like it needs a lot of polish.

I never knew Tigrex could scale vertical walls.

But yeah, on the one hand we have this, which is hardly recognizable as Monster Hunter, and Monster Hunter 3 G, which from the trailer looks exactly like MH3... on the 3DS. Plus Plesioth and other little things.

Can we move the series back to a sensible console now, Capcom?

First MH Tri G, then MH4? Wtf is wrong with Capcom and 3DS, and nintendo, seriously?? What is the benefit of making MH games on that type console?
