So I battled Lao Shan Lung. I kept on hitting him before I got to Area 5. When we finally got to Area 5, I noticed that I probably wouldn't make it in time. So I rage quitted. Then I did something unforgivable. I used cwcheats. And that ... guy still wouldn't die. Little did I know that he can only die in Area 5. I SPENT OVER 3 HOURS TRYING TO KILL THAT THING!!!!! I kept on rage quitting and trying again. Until I gave up.

Today, I summoned up the strength to fight him again. Once again, I rage quitted. So I looked online. And it says that he can't be killed outside of AREA 5.

I learnt the hard way about rage quitting. I was initially under the impression that you had to KILL him to pass the mission.

EDIT: I also wanted to carve him. I wanna carve him good. Mmmmm.

A good rule of thumb is not to rage quit until you actually fail the mission.

I... actually rage quitted my first Shen Gaoren, my second attempt, it was like 10 seconds left and he way flinching like mad, I was like "I'M TOTALLY GONNA MAKE IT >:0" Then it said "Mission complete" and I thought I had killed it and started Laughing, then I read the prompt and couldn't skip the movie, it turned out it fleed. LOL I felt like such an idiot xD

Shen Gaoren was super easy. I just whacked at his leg for 10 minutes and every time he fell, I slashed the shit out of his face. Done in 15 minutes.

I hate Lao-Shan, he's irritatingly boring to kill. Also, when I have to kill Low/High Lao-Shans, I don't have the weapons to do it easily, i.e hammers of equivalent ranks. I last did Low-Shan Lung with Black Scythe and Lao-High Lung with Smolder Dragonsword. It's more elegant with a Longsword, but hammers are easier. With an LS, I have to worry about positioning, timing, reach, attack choice, whether or not to roll out... none of that with a hammer.

Speaking of which, are there any Hammer G weak enough to be more-or-less equivalent to low and high-rank hammers (assuming no damage buff; my Lao-Set Lung only has Carving Celeb and High-Speed Gathering)? I'm mostly looking at Teddybear G for low-rank and Binder Mace G for High-rank, but the former seems a little too weak and the latter a little too strong. Bonus points if it looks cool (well, if it doesn't, no point getting it; I could just settle with a cool-looking non-G hammer that does the job equally well).

EDIT; for the non-G hammers, extra points if it's of equivalent rank and/or fully upgraded.
