You take that many classes per semester??
Yeahh well, up to GCSE there are Core subjects (English Lit, Language, Maths, Technology, Biology, Chemistry, Physics) and then your choices on top, (in my case, French, Geography, music, art).
Then you have a choice after GCSE:
1. Leave school and get a job.
2. Go into 6th form and do A levels
3. Go to college and do other higher level education.
I'll be doing 6th form and A levels. And in lower 6th you choose 4subjects (mine are Maths, Physics, Tech and Art), and compulsory General Studies which covers a range of things, so you do 5 AS levels, and then in upper 6th you can choose to drop a subject, and always drop General Studies. Leaving 3 or 4 A2 levels.
This then qualifies you (grades dependent) for university (age 18+) where you study job specific skills. I'll probably do a 4year undergraduate course in Fine Art (1year Foundation and 3years study) then a year out to find a job, and then a 2year postgraduate course in Game Art. And then I'll be qualified to do game art for a company.
If I still can't get a job I'll go for a M.Phil which is Masters of Philosophy, which is either 1 or 2 years where you study for and write a disitation on your chosen subject. This has no lectures and you stay at university and pay to go in and do research. The paper you produce is somewhere in the region of 80,000words.
Then if I still can't get a job (fml if so.) I'll go back and do a PhD (Doctor in Philosophy) similar to previous but a longer paper.
Anyway, If i do all that then I will be officially Dr *insert name here* M.A. M.Phil PhD
If that was enough detail... :/ <3
