hmm.... interesting preference thread!

1. b. ii (trimmed beard, more of a rugged stubble really.)
2. b. a is okay if it isn't excessive, but b otherwise.
3. a. Rugged and natural, though if it looks like too much like a sweater or a bear maybe I'd switch over to b...
4. b or c. Either is okay, but it depends what natural would look like (on some people [a] might look fine..)

Overall, I think rugged and manly men are nice... but not too extremely rugged. Grooming and tidying where it helps.

I'm trimmed armpit hairs and "southern hairs" and shave around my goatee and sideburns.
I like it. My wife likes it too.

4. preferably ( b ), though I shave when I don't have the time to trim properly.

I've trimmed mine on occasion. Usually when I'm going to wear a shirt with short sleeves, and it looks like it will poke out. Hard to do, I think I need new trimmers.

I used to shave my chest, girls I was around back then liked it shaved. Then my most recent ex liked 'em hairy, so I got to be lazy and let it grow back out.
