Something completely different from my experimental, MIDI, symphonic, instrumental stuff of Hguols.

This project is called Ankou Awaits. (that's what the hard to read logo says) and its very true to traditional black metal.
I've got a full length here 41+ minutes of music that I've been working on in secret for the past multiple weeks. I'm going to shop some labels with this...

I perform all the instruments, and those are my vocals. My beautiful wife wrote all the lyrics which can be viewed in the video comments.
The lyrics to all the songs revolve around Celtic mythology.

You like? I'll post another song here.
You no like? Go away.

Please ask me questions!

Sounds like blackgrindmetal haha. Maybe I don't listen to enough blackmetal though. I've never heard these types of vocals in black. I've only really heard shrieks and the occasional growls actually... hmm. But, I'm not a huge fan of blackmetal, so I wouldn't know.

Naw, this is what trve or kvlt black metal sounds like. Of course, there are going to be variations in vocals, not just high pitched stuff.

Here's an example of the more lower pitch black metal vocals.
Let me reiterate, this isn't a hybrid band. This is all out effin' black metal.

I'll probably join that forum once I get this project just a little more established.

OMG Hguols has badass blackmetal voice.
Hguols listen to the very first black metal song "Black Metal" by Venom
This is sick that you play all the instruments.

Thanks Ashqul! ....and I'm well aware of the song Black Metal by Venom, and the covers of that song from Cradle of Filth, Dimmu Borgir, Sigh, Hypocrisy, Machetazo, Mayhem, Vader and Warpath.

Given your history of misleading topic posts, I was expecting this to be about a piece of iron that you coloured in with a permenant marker.

...Just passing through >_>

Well, my search for new labels has been relatively unfruitful.

....but I expected this. Getting signed is a lot like getting a job.

Qualifications don't really mean shit, its who you know. ._.

EDIT: Ooh. Looks like I got a bite. It wasn't me finding someone, it was someone finding me...

You should work on recording equipment, all i hear is blast beats and a low gurgle in the background.

I'm sorry that you don't know what "trve" black metal sounds like. ._.

What I made is in the same genre as these:

Its got to be a record. I shop for labels and day 2 in my search, a label finds me and wants to release the album.

They're working on a .com page, but right now, all they have is a facebook page, that's fairly new.

Black Metal Underground

I've known the guy for a bit, and he's definitely trustworthy.
This could be the beginning of a beautiful relationship!

So 'true' black metal sounds awful?

No. It sounds grim.

Let me ask you which would sound more kvlt, trve and/or evil.

- Recording in a nice polished-gold-toof studio with expensive algorithms put into the recording and mixing
- Recording with a tape deck out in the woods at night with swords and torches

I rest my case.

No, that's what's TRVE.
Selling records means shit.

That's like saying Justine Bieber is a godly music artist, just look at his music sales!

I've always wondered why people can't at least growl in multiple tones, and go with the beat, instead of senseless drumming.

Random drum beat is a big turn off. Doesn't sound good.

No wonder you don't understand black metal!

The drumming is random, and the growls sound the same, it's a turn off.
