But... no multiplayer... Why would you do that?

That comes out to about 142 USD. My store sells the 3K for 130 USD. This doesn't seem like such a low price to me. I predict this will sell about as well as the Go.

I kinda see this as useless...the psp has been out since 05.
Why make a new model 1 year before the next gen system?

I'd rather use UMD's then get them from the PSN Store. It's just one of the many reasons why my parents canceled my credit card when I got the PSP Go >_>

make it VERY cheap and put at least enough onboard memory (assuming it doesn't have a card slot) for some movies and music.

No i wouldnt....

wifi makes the machine more portable and youre able to watch some internet videos on the go! ;)

Sony trying to milk the franchise? How is the UMD format doing in Europe? I have not heard of this in Japan.

BTW the PSPGo ceased production in April of this year in Japan, the only region it is being marketed in to my knowledge is the NA Region.


No wifi? How would you hunt with your buds? Not to mention the Media go is lamer than cross loading from a PS3....

I wish they would state the reasons why this device was created. Does Sony love cannibalizing its own hardware sales like it did with the PS3 early on? I mean the Vita will be out in a few months, if the rumors hold up.

...though I will say despite the sexy design....I would not get this. Plus no silver matte finish version....common Sony....

Maybe they have loads of spare parts but too few network cards left over and want to exhaust their supplies before over hauling for Vita? Anyway they can make it for so cheap any sales will make some profit... They should label it as a Limited Edition and then the hardcore people will want it just so they can say they have it...

...Besides I could buy a psp 2000 for that price on Craigslist and have my wifi.

This sounds pretty lame to me. If it makes some people happy then that's good I guess, but I personally would never buy it.
