Medicine : Reverse/stop the aging process, re-engineer cells to heal like Wolverine. Replace worn body parts with laboratory grown from stem cells.
Computers: Download all your mannerisms and knowledge into a supercomputer that uses no moving parts and solid state components (watch The Time Machine). You may be dead, but your presence will be trolling the future internetS for thousands of years.

Solid State storage... limited write capacity...
I just cannot see the desire for immortality. I guess i stems from a fear of death. Rather short sited, in my opinion.

I dream of being immortal just for the chance to learn everything. There just isn't enough time in just one lifetime.
