If you have the pw to that wifi point, you could use that to access the DLC stuffs.

If not I dunno.

pw? do you mean password? can you be more specific please, cuz im talking about wifi security. The psp uses wep and my wifi is wpa2. the password doesn't make any difference.

Because the wifi is password protected, you enter it after you select that wifi point when scanning for it with your psp.

So make sure your w-lan switch (on top of the psp) is turned on, then in-game go to the dlc part.
After that it should ask what wifi you would like to use (either scan or manually input it if you know all that mumbo jumbo).
Select the wifi point that is yours and proceed.
Choose the correct security level (in your case it's wpa)
Then it'll ask for the password to it, so enter it and follow through.
It should save that connection when your done, so you can use it again and again.
After that choose your wifi point and it should go through.

I know that the wifi is password protected but wpa and wpa2(my case) are different protocols, and the psp don't support wpa2, look: http://share.blog.us...pport-for-psp/. anyway thx for trying to help.

There are no playstation spots near where you live? Just hopping on one of those should do the trick. How about your public library? Do they have wireless hot spot you can use?

I don't think they really do Playstation spots in the US. Maybe in the bigger cities, but I've never seen one in my area.

As Basukesu pointed out, find a public wifi spot, like a library or a coffee shop, maybe a friend's place.

The only way to get download content for MHFUnite is to download it through the in-game menu. If you really can't get it, you could try uploading your save file and getting someone to download the DLC for you then upload it again.
If you have any issues with the forum or with other members, please PM me. I'm here to help.
The guilty pay the price.
