yeh, this was more rage topic, but i find killing jhen fastest by poking his belly, i only attempted this with sabertooth G, which a decent weapon for jhen, but still no good to leave cannon and start meleeing
but truth be told, i had 3 ppl disconnected on me, i manage to solo kill jhen, even though the powerhouse melee are disconnected bfore the final showdown
so i find that : poking jhen belly kills it fastest, no idea about gunning yet

what's your best method on final showdown of jhen moran high rank?

why is ppl nowadays doesn't get into the fight when they are more capable than me... trolling? might be, dumb? even might be, and i was told "stfu nubs, whut do you know" riggggghhhhhtttt, i was only HR 155 tho, now rushing to HR49

Everyone gets mad at me when I fight Jhen because I never use the cannons and ballistas during the final showdown. I'm either Using Long Sword with Adrenaline, AuL, Sh+1 continuously attack Jhens broken arms or using a pierce gun with with Crit+3 or AuL and Pierce S Boost.

I know I'm not doing as much damage per hit with my weapons compared to the ballistas or cannons but I hit more constantly and a lot faster then the ballistas and cannons.

Everytime I have a full team attacking Jhens arms (with decent weapons) we end up killing Jhen but everytime I have a full team using cannons/ballistas we only end up repelling.

^^ thats probably because any good highrank weapon will always outdamage balista/cannon spaming.

I either adrenaline +2 gun it with my Normal set, or go for full assault with anything but sword and shield.

Usually stay at the legs in the final showdown.

First stage i get 10 ballista and fire them, rest of stage i just LS him and bind him with Balista Binder if i get it. Then 2nd stage i just fire 10 more ballista to get some damage on the tusks/arms and after that the whole fight i just LS him. I don't really see the point in using the cannons at all, and more ballista neither as LS is so much faster. I've only once failed to kill jhen, all the other times we always kill him in 20-25 mins.

I stay back because my weapon damage won't compare to ballista damage, so I gather ballistas constantly and destroy the tusks. I make sure no harm is done to the ship by staying with a binder. Until I have a better weapon, I refuse to head to the battlefield. My team is happy enough with that stuff. But Jhen is still an annoying, boring SOB.

After you break Jhens crack you can stand inside of it with a greatsword and charge, and it will deal the same damage as if the crack was not broken yet.

Lol but yeah, crack glitch makes fastest kill. Then belly on showdown.

Fastest kill wyould be triple nator. 2 nators right in beginning, crack glitch, then belly. 15_ 20 minute fight.

Also, only works on back crack, and you have to'stand in a specific spot. It is in drakos advanced hunters guide above this topic.

Also, I know a better set. Requires crit draw +7 00 charm,

Sharp +1
Adrenaline +2
Fortify
Crit draw

Don't get it why people hate Jhen, he's the most fun fight of the enitre game, it's something else then a normal boring battle on whatever area with whatever monster. I love fighting Jhen ;o I enjoy mindless slashing on something huge from time to time.

Critical Draw is pointless on that set, and I always knew about it, but I thought the lag was because you were hitting with the middle of your blade. Focus is a lot better than Crit Draw

Focus is faster charges, crit draw means always sheathing and what not then landing another. Focus could be an endless chains of level 3 charges.
