I have two sets for a sns user. Both have their merits but i cant quite decide which one is better.

The two skill sets are:
1. Addrenaline +2 , Sharpness+1, evade +1, attack up small, detect (or sense cant recall... the deviljho armor set +10 skill).
Pro is it has a decent amount of defense aswell.

2. Elemental attack up, sharpness+1, earplugs, evade +1.

Keep in mind this is for a damage sns. Any help or suggestion would be great. I was thinking of the most damage a sns can do while have evade+1 because i believe that is a very important skill for a sns. Keep in mind im good enough to use addrenaline. in fact i have used it to solo kill jhos.

I'd say the second set is better.

Sword N' Shield hits fast and will benefit from the Elemental Attack Up, when you have an element. The speed of the attacks, combined with Sharpness +1, and the Elemental Attack Up tip it to be the better set as far as I'm concerned.

Well i wasnt sure about that. I did some calculations on various monsters with the ROTR weapon calculator and when i did the first set it came out on top every time on every monster i tested. I just find it to be a little more risky

This is why I steer clear of damage calculations and whatnot.

The first set might come out on top, but that doesn't mean it's the best set to use. Now that you know the first set is technically more effective though, it's more than likely you'll use that more.

Staying away from damage calculators might make me oblivious but at least it doesn't fill my head with numbers and doubt over which sets are "better"

Truth be told i think i have always liked addrenaline a bit better. I think that it causes more damage. But also which i know this might sound weird is that i think addrenaline increases KO damage on sheild. Sometimes especially on gigonox i will actually stun it for the lols. But i guess they are both good. Id definalty use the elemental on anything like uragan / los/ ian/lagi etc. but i think id save addrenanine for jho.

EDIT: I always thought it did more damage before i looked at the calculators : P

What's the actual armor that you're using in these sets? I'd like to build them (I'm also an Sns user).

Inclosed is the actual armor pieces. KEEP IN MIND u need a evade +7 00 charm : P

Addrenaline +2, sharpness+1, evade+1, attack up small
Vangis helm
Vangis chest
Barraoth + vampraces
Vangis legs
Black leather pants.
From memory u require one slot which is ok all the good sns have one slot. The decorations you will require are: Architect on the gloves and handicraft on the weaponl.


Elemental attack up, evade +1, earplugs, sharpness+1
Skull
Helios Chest +
Helios arms +
Helios belt +
Lagi Low rank
The decorations you will require. (also need a 1 slot weapon). Elemental + and 3 normal elemental decorations : D.

If you dont have a evade +7 00 charm tell me the best evade charm you have and i will build a set around it. I know that charm is very rare and i was lucky to get it ironically on high rank barioth with two deaths... i thought hey ill just help some random guy and that was on the reward screen. 0.0

Id definantly go for the elemental one first. Its easiar. But like i said if you dont have a evade +7 00 slot talisman tell me what you do have with evade talismans and i will make a set for you.

Uh, I think I have a talisman close to that, but I'd have to check.
