I don't know why it was closed. It is a good Idea Dtier. I have noticed that RM has become more trolling. I know you might say "This topic is dumb because we can do anything we want in RM."

Well you can't. Trolling is directly prohibited, as stated in the Forum rules. So why not make a sub-section to clean up RM of the Meme related biz. Feel free to locked this if you want to re-open the previous topic.

I say we implement this idea and see how it goes. I mean, this is a website. If it doesn't work out well, we just get rid of it. Not too hard.

I don't know if NOBODY liked the idea. I didn't, though, for what its worth. Seems like a way to "force" maturity on RM, and possible scenarios play out something like this:

A) It goes unused, because most of the stupid threads in RM are not Meme-based

B ) All the shit from RM goes there, RM dies, and then people start nostalgia-ing over how great RM was

I know there are more, but given the userbase of RM, these seem fairly likely. I'm not above more heavily moderating RM, but this seems pretty pointless. Create an undefined sub section? I dunno, it just seems too iffy to me.

We do, however, run the risk of going the way of SoCrim, and not moderating enough. I'd be ok with following the rules and guidelines more strictly, mod-wise.

I agree with popo. I have been feeling RM has been going out of hand lately as well.
