Sony has announced that they will be porting select PSP titles onto the PS3 with remastered HD graphics, 3D support, and more. Some games may even get PS3 exclusive content. The games will work over Ad Hoc Party and will even use the same saves as the original PSP games, so you can move the save between the two systems.

To start this off on the right foot, Sony has confirmed that Monster Hunter Portable 3rd will be a launch title for this new program. It sounds like the program may get an international release. Let's hope MHP3 follows it.

I've been waiting for another console Monster Hunter, and this would fulfill my desires in a big way. They better do an international release. Otherwise I'll...be all sad and stuff.

Although I am excited to hear that I may get to play MHP3 finally, I am rather disappointed with the "HD" version. From what I see, these graphics are hardly cutting edge, and I would much rather see a brand new game properly rendered, like MHTri was, rather than just a port from PSP.

I guess I can only wait and see what follows though.

The only difference i can tell is it doesn't look as jagged at the edges other then that nothing amazing but i will still get it if they release here in the U.S cause i want to play it

I hope this game is still going to come out on the PSP here. I would rather pay 120 + game than 300 + game.
